JfromMI Posted May 21, 2021 Report Share Posted May 21, 2021 I had a question about an 07 with some type of shudder. It is near the passenger front wheel. When driving there would be a vibration intermittently. I would happen in straightaway at speed. The wheel would feel like it wanted to wander a bit. Then it would quit. Tire felt like it was in a rut. I replaced the outer tie rod end but I think it was good. It would move (rock) with my hand but after installing the new it seems that is normal. I think both front bearing are bad. I can feel a resistance when I drive and there is a howl. The boots on the ball joint and tie rod ends have no tears. After replacing the tire rod end it seems to have become a shudder. Feels like its the tire. I do not feel it in the steering wheel. It is loud and the car shudders some. Then it stops. Any ideas? Could bad bearings cause this? I am pretty sure they are bad. 230,000 bearings might be original. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
