2019 non adaptive headlights to adaptive headlight housings

Recommended Posts

Hello, I'm currently tossing around the ideal of purchasing two 2019 edge housings with the led blade turn signal and two separate areas for the low and high beam lights. From my understanding these lights typically come with high optioned edges example titanium elite and 401a st trims.

I own a 2019 ST trim it has quite alot on it expect for cooled seats and the what appear to be adaptive headlights.

My question Is if I installed these higher trim adaptive led headlights into a edge that dosen't have adaptive led lights will the lights itself function as a normal headlight? Or just not function at all? I'm aware that the little silver headlight modules on the back of the housings are needed which the buyer I'm buying from has 2 perfect condition adaptive led headlights that came off a ST 401a trim.

If anyone has any information or experience in this itll be much appreciated. Like I said I dont care too much if the adaptive portion doesn't work I just want them to function as normal upgraded headlights. If I can get the adaptive function working that's just icing on the cake. I've attached pictures of what I'm try to install and what I currently have.

Thanks in advance everyone!

Hi
Of course, it is possible to replace your lamps with Bi-LED lamps.
After assembly, you need to program the lamps using a program (for example FORSCAN).
It is possible that the traba will move 2 wires in the lamp plug (high beams do not always work. Pins 1 <-> 10 are changed (at least in the European version).
In Europe, it is additionally required that the lamps have automatic height adjustment. That's why we mount HCM modules with sensors on the front and rear swingarm. This system together with the appropriate camera in the rearview mirror works great!!
