OtisLee
My Ford Edge doesn't seem to want to accelerate after a few minutes of driving. When I press the gas pedal, I get nothing. I have to get off and on the pedal again to get the car to give it a little acceleration to get me down the road. The cats were replaced two years ago. I have changed the ATF fluid, cleaned the MAF and throttle body, and replaced the air filter. No check engine lights. However, I did plug in my Bluetooth scan tool and noticed that the TPS didn't seem to be responding to my gas pedal. I can pretty much tell when this problem is happening; it only shows that the tps is reporting a split second spike to say 40-70% throttle, then immediately hits 15% throttle and won't budge, but maybe 1 to 2% higher or lower. What should my next step be with diagnosing? replace the trottlebody?? 2013 Ford Edge Sport 180k miles I am no mechanic just a broke man trying to get his vehicle fixed.
