TurboFlush
Although transmission related. This is a haptic and visual feedback for the driver. Seems to be a common failure. In this picture the detent arm is broke off and missing. I got lucky and found another shifter two years ago and swapped that part. Recently that one broke again. I am guessing the age of the plastic is what fails. And they are fragile when the shifter module is being removed. Has anyone 3d printed a replacement ? Is there a repair kit? Can you bolt in a gen2 ( 2011) shift module?
bamilf
I have also broken one, just thinking it is optional equipment at this point, is there any reason to have it at all?

No not really. But it gives the feedback to the fingers and the visual of the gear selection. I didnt realize my wife relied on this until it broke and she complained.
