ben senise
i've got a rattle somewhere on the passenger side of my 2020 edge st and it is driving me nuts. i have been searching for it for a year. i've tried stuffing cloths in places, i've zip tied things, i've removed things and it's still there. i cannot diagnose the problem when driving. i need to remove the seat completely and take it out of the car to find out if it's on the seat or somewhere else. i think it may be in the fan unit for the heated/cooled seats. i will need to disconnect the large connector under the seat and i assume that it has airbag related electronics. will the airbag light go on if i disconnect it and drive the car? (which i have to to find the rattle.) will it stay lit after i put the seat back? does forscan allow you to turn it off? my edge is 5 years old and has under 40,000 km on it and it is a f@$%ing rattle trap. just as i hunt one rattle down and cure it, another one appears. i love this car but the rattles are driving me batty. any help would be greatly appreciated.
