Hello all. I have a '10 Edge SEL, cinnamon, without the roof. Leasing, but after the first 4 months, I can say If things stay good I might decide to buy it. I have an aunt with a 2008 MKX. Driving her truck made me get mine!! Love the thing to death. Thinking about upgrading from the 18s to 20s. best thing about it is the looks and comments I get about the color. Aren't that many here in central NJ. Hope to see you online!!

I have a 2007 MKX and the lease is almost up... can you tell me if you noticed a difference in driving your aunts MKX and your Edge? Thanks.

Sorry i took so long to reply. uhh...her mkx rides a little smoother, as i think lincoln has the obvious better shocks and the like. hers has the leather and roof, i have cloth and no roof. can't really see a difference between the two after that to be honest. have you seen the new models coming this fall? i like the new edge, not of fan of the lincoln grille. but her lease is up soon, and she says she will have the 2011 mkx.

The Edge was a bit smaller on the inside. The new model ride was no different to me... but by the time I added all the bells to the Edge, it made more sense to get the MKX. I have seen the online 2011 MKX and wish I could have held out for that one, but there are no incentives on the 2011 yet and they were giving almost $5000 to get the 2010...

I pick it up today, hopefully... or tomorrow.

Thanks for getting back to me.

Hi gears31327, kstateaddict and makidada . :D Just to avoid confusion concerning current and future engine specifications in the 2010 (and 2011) Ford Edge and Lincoln MKX:

The 2010 Edge and MKX both have a 265 HP/250 lb.-ft. torque 3.5L engine. They do not yet have the improved 285 HP/253 lb.-ft. torque version of the 3.5L engine.

The 2011 Edge will have the improved 3.5L, 285 HP/253lb.-ft. torque engine as standard equipment. The 2011 Edge Sport will come standard with the improved 3.7L, 305 HP/280 lb.-ft. torque engine.

The 2011 MKX will come standard with the improved 3.7L, 305 HP/280 lb.-ft. torque HP engine.

Hope this information helps.

Good luck. :beerchug:
