Front Splash Guards

Love my new 2011 Sport. Sorry, Cant seem to explain that enough these days.

Anyway, I noticed that since the tires are so wide, and fill the wheel well so thoroughly that they tend to splash a lot of road grime onto the rocker panels and lower door covers. I was looking at universal mud flaps / splash guards and realized that I had two brand new Mazda truck rear mud guards in my garage... for about 8 years.

I traced the shape of the flap that I would need onto a piece of cardboard, transferring the location of the two screws that mount the front rocker panel filler.

I reversed the mud flap so you cannot read the Mazda Logo, I then cut it to the shape of the stencil.

Once they were mounted with the existing screws, they offer protection for the lower body panels and they're virtually invisible from the rear because of the way they blend against the front tire. If I had two more, I would have made a set for the rear.
