Considering an 08 Limited

HI, My wife and i are considering getting rid of our mini-van for an Edge. We have three kids and are wondering if there is anybody out there with an Edge and three kids and their impressions of the vehicle.

 

Any insight would be helpful.

[How old are your kids? I only have one who is still in a booster seat and I know that I wouldn't want three car seats in the back if you are even able. As it is, you have to kind of pull the car seat over to get the seatbelt in then let it shift back to the correct spot.

 

I also wouldn't plan on three full size people sitting in the back either. They say it is a 5 person car, but I would say 4 comfortable - 5 iffy.

I would put them all in it before buying. I love my Edge, but not planning on any more kids so the three of us fit great. Any more and we take the truck that fits 5 very comfortably or two cars as needed.

To replace a minivan for a family of 5, I'd look at the Flex. Putting 5 in the edge regularly might not be very ideal. My $0.02.
