But then the manual doesn`t bother saying just how to remove that antenna either, which based on my cursory investigation is not a simple chore. Anyone actually do this? speeder Posted June 5, 2011 Report Share Posted June 5, 2011 (edited) The antenna simply unscrews off the base. Easier to do it if you have the BAMR. I take it off whenever I throw the car cover on it. I don't take my car through an automatic car wash but I would suggest you take it off when you do go through one.
