Transmission leaking beyond the PTU seal fix

I recently had my transmission leaking while I was gone on vacation from my 2007 ford edge sel awd. I took it in once and they fixed two seals, not sure which. The dealer said that fixed the problem and after I got it home I had the exact same leak again coming from the center of the vehicle. So again I took it in to the same dealer and they had it in the shop for over a week. This is what the shop's notes read "Check automatic trans for operation/leaks. Install dye, clean trans, test drive, leak check, found left trans case leaking thru aluminum/porosity leak, remove trans mount to bench with case replacement, flush trans cooler, reassemble. test drive, raise on hoist, verify no leaks, all ok." So after this second time round I let it sit for two days over the weekend.

Well a new problem arose. From the same spot where I was leaking trans fluid (at least on the floor) the edge started leaking oil or what I assume to be. So for the third time I took it in and to a new dealer just to see if it was shotty repairs being done. Heres what the third visit noted : "Customer states: check for fluid leak under vehicle. Diagnose and advise of repairs. Perform diagnostic tests and pinpoint procedures. Found PTU overheating and vent hose leaking fluid. Replaced power take off unit, refilled fluids, retests good at this time."

So again after getting the vehicle back I was hoping this would be the last time. Well it appears as if the vehicle is leaking the same black fluid again in the same spot. So I'm at a loss, i figured that by now after the third visit that it would be fixed. I'm going to take it back in after the weekend but I was wondering if any of you have had the same issue and what became of it. All of it is warranty work, again its an 07 edge with 43000 miles on it.

I have a 2011 Edge Limited AWD. At about 14K miles I noticed drops of fluid on the garage floor and brought the vehicle to the dealer to have it checked. Dealer told me it was bad PTU seals that were not properly installed during the manufacturing process. It took them upwards of 2 weeks to get all necessary parts in and complete the repairs. About 6 months later, I noticed that the vehicle had started leaking again - very distinct red fluid. At 26K miles, I had the oil changed and the techs told me I had a very slow transmission leak. At 27K miles, I started smelling a burning smell inside and out; I got out to inspect the vehicle with the engine running and saw wisps of smoke coming up from underneath through the engine compartment. I could also see fluid seeping down onto what I believe is the exhaust manifold and smoking off. Very carefully brought the vehicle to the dealer service department where it now sits. Will update when I get word.
