Using existing radio as xm antenna with roady2

Recommended Posts

Hi,

New owner today. Can I somehow connect my xm roady 2 unit to the edge antenna so I don't have to run the ugly unit that sits on top of the car?

No. The am/Fm antenna on the edge is designed for the am/fm band only. It also contains an amp

in the base of it for those bands only. The connector is also not the same as what your Roady needs.

The satellite antennas that are used for xm are not that large. I have mounted them on the dash towards the front of the windshield and they usually work just fine.
