aldrums Posted July 27, 2017 Report Share Posted July 27, 2017 (edited) Hey everyone! My name is Alex. My wife & I just bought our first Edge! 2016 Titanium in Shadow Black. We LOVE it so far! We are expecting our 2nd kid in December, so we needed to upgrade from a Chrysler Sebring that doesn't have working air conditioning. We already have a 2008 Expedition Limited, which we love. I was originally dead-set on getting an Explorer, but I was convinced to get the Edge because of the price, and because of the great look and feel of it! While I still love the Explorer, it's a bit much, considering we already have the Expedition. The Edge fits perfectly for what we need! I'm grateful to have found this forum! Edit: I do want to make some mods to this Edge over time. How difficult and expensive would it be to black it out? There is a lot of chrome, but I think it'd be awesome to replace it with black trim. Tightanium Posted July 28, 2017 Report Share Posted July 28, 2017 That's the same color and model I got for the wife. She went from a Mercedes to this and always says she loves her Edge. We don't have any kids at home anymore so this size was perfect for us. I too will be blacking out some things. Wrapping is really the best way to get the most out of the blackout, but you can try Plastidipping it first to see if you like the look.
