  1. So if you don’t believe this will help you’re going to leave your coolant in way to long ? Atleast changing it makes me feel better weather it works or not. I’m not sure it will help either but why take the chance.

    Sport style grill

    I masked it off.

    Sport style grill

I did this to mine while on the car. I think you have to remove the bumper to get the grill off.

    Thinking about purchasing 2015:Sport

My 2016 Titanium has been flawless. No issues.
  5. Thats what I did. It’s Way better. But I have a 2016.

Edge emblem 3/8" higher then Titanium emblem

A little OCD.? My 2016 is 1/8 inch off. Maybe the 2018 is different again.
  7. Ok I apologize. There were no 2018’s on the lot but several 2019’s. I could not see the outline on the 19’s but in my defense the 3 2016’s looked just like mine. And Omar’s. Maybe they changed that in 2018? You could pay more then $45k for on F150 and have this. Just saying. I guess that’s why it doesn’t bother me. I thought it was suppose to be there. My apologies.
  8. Mine doesn’t look any worse then omars pic. I’ll admit I don’t go around looking at all the vehicle dashes to see if they have an outline or not. It’s probably suppose to be like that. And I’m pretty sure Ford won’t do crap to fix your outline. Since you didn’t post a pic of your dash I’ll do you a favor. I’m scheduled for an oil change today at the dealership. I’m going to look at as many Edge dashes that I can and let you all know what I see.
  9. I can see mine. But it’s not a big deal to me. I thought it was normal.

Mine have been good. I don’t feel mine are loud. Used them in deep snow ok. I might buy again.

    Changing Oil Brands

What do you mean the position of the valve?
  12. I did the Drive Bright hid conversion 2 weeks ago and all I can say is what a difference. I did the 5000k bulb. If you want a perfect match with the signature lights I think you should opt for the 6000k. Overall I’m super happy. Only thing is is I can hear a buzzing noise coming from one of the modules mostly when first turned on. You can’t hear it inside the car but it’s on both headlight harnesses. Anyone else have this ?

    Testing new software

    Oh yeah that’s it.

    Testing new software

3 stage paint job. Can’t remember the name of it but first paint had something to do with the grill being plastic. 2nd paint was color. 3rd was clear coat with a little more hardener in it. I was afraid of rock chips. So far only one small one. I’m not a fan of painting grills because they do chip. But I just couldn’t take the silver anymore.

I don’t blame you. I’m really using you to test some things. I’m going to send a pic just for fun.

    PTU drain plug identification- HELP

http://www.fordedgeforum.com/topic/10914-ptu-leak-failures/page-30 It will work. I used it on my 2016 Tightanium.
  17. My 2016 Tightanium does the same as yours. I thought it was normal.

    Steering wheel leather coming off

I know they won’t on door panels. One of my rear door panels suddenly started to get a weird white spot about a quarter size. They blamed it on a cleaner used on it. I bought car used , only 8 months old at the time. 3 months into ownership I noticed it. Ok so it’s possible last owner did something but I know I didn’t. If I use leather conditioner on it , it’s not as noticeable. It is what it is on a used car if dealer won’t help.
  19. I was thinking the same thing but I’m thinking he means scuffs or scratches from an obvious impact. That’s probably an expensive piece. I couldn’t stand driving it if it were my car.

    PTU drain plug

2016 Tightanium with 30k. No leaks. Oil changed at 28k and looked fine. Probably didn’t need to do it but since I have a drain plug I’m not taking any chances.
  21. Maybe Ford thinks that there are to many people like me and never use it? I’m not saying they shouldn’t offer it just I don’t have a need for it. I don’t like the delay .

Any way to purposely make my brake booster fail?

Ok so you said Ford has a recall. Doesn’t that mean they have to change it for free? My F150 had a master cylinder recall and as soon as they got the new ones in they changed it. Could it be the 10 year, 150k is like a deadline and you have to get it in before that or your SOL For the repair?

    How does your AWD work

When I was in Utah for Chrismas last year I purposely found hills , ice and thick snow to test out how well the AWD system worked. It worked really well. Like MaX83-ZA said. You can feel the power going to the tires that have traction. So a little jerky feeling with the steering wheel as the fronts would spin then grab. And the added traction in the rears helped keep the vehicle moving. This is my first AWD vehicle as I always had 4x4 truck. I feel just as safe in my Edge as I do in my truck.
