rear-ended

abnormal

got rear-ended a few days before xmas. was stopped at red light and the driver of the car behind me wasn't paying attention. hasn't been fixed yet. body shop will take it at the end of the month. approx. $2500 damage and 1 week rental (fully covered because other driver was totally at fault)

Damn, that sucks. Someone backed into my front end last year and it cost $3500 to fix. Plastic parts are way too expensive these days...

Yes it held up really well. Because its winter and the car is covered with dirt and salt, you wouldn't immediately notice the damage but the bumper is cracked and the black plastic under is all broken to pieces. The body shop tucked it under while I wait for repairs. Apparently this color is not noticeable, this is the third time someone's hit me in this car. Next one will be a different color.
