  1. Has anyone purchased tire traction devices for their Edge other than traditional chains? I have the large (22 in.) tires and cannot put traditional chains or cables on them.

  3. I too have not had any problems with my Edge other than not being able to program the memory seats. (From earlier posts I mentioned this and have a new Driver's Module on order per mechanics agreement). If my Bluetooth does not connect I go into my IPhone (have an iPhone 3g...did not upgrade), go into Settings, General, Bluetooth, Devices and I hit the SYNC button again, even if it says it is connected. It reconnects every single time and I can listen to everything on my iPhone. I do not have to do this to just use the phone, I find it connects well with the phone capability. I love my Edge. It drives very well and I love all the technology. Yes, knock on wood!
  4. JustDaFax, I did try your process, many times actually. It did not work for us. When I took my Edge in the technicians did find something "wrong" with the Driver's Seat computer module. Luckily it is not a big thing although I have to admit that after three weeks of ownership having to adjust the seats and mirror every time I get in is a pain. I'll keep you all posted on the continuing saga...
  5. Not sure if this is related but I'll throw it in... Did you know you can adjust your volume depending on your speed? The faster you go, the louder the audio goes. If memory serves me right I believe you make the selection do on the left 4in. screen. Maybe that has something to do with your volume control?
  6. They said it would take 3-4 working days and they would call me next week. We'll see but the Service Tech sounded like he knew what he was talking about.
  7. Just an update to all who still are having Easy Entry or Memory seat programming issues. We were unable to program our memory seats either with or w/o the fob. I followed all the instructions AND also the tips I learned in this forum. I brought my Edge in today to the dealer. After actually trying to re-program the Driver's Seat computer program they finally gave up and ordered a whole new computer module for it. So for those of you that continue to have problems you may need a new module for the Driver's Seat. BUT...I STILL LOVE MY EDGE!!!! :yup:
  8. There you go Wilson...must be that. I have an AWD Limited, with 20 in. tires and no damn dam :shades:
  9. When my Entertainment screen is up the A/V tab says "A/V In" no matter if there are cables plugged in or not. The MyFord Touch supplement says that the tab should say A/V Inputs and then A/V In when there are cables plugged in. The feature works properly...it is just that the tab always says A/V In. My husband says it is much ado about nothing but I want everything to be working properly! Can you all check your tab and tell me what it says? Thanks!
  10. My Edge Limited does not have the flap. On the Edge website I do not see it either. Also I have the 20 in. wheels...do you think that has something to do with it? Wilson what size are your wheels? Maybe the others have 18 in. wheels?
  11. Mine does the same thing, but it does eventually turn off. There is just a long lag time...a bit like the way the headlights stay on when you get out. I do not believe it is a defect or anything to worry about.
  12. I sure hope it DOES fix other problems...like the Bluetooth streaming audio/iPhone problem. Today my phone/iPod sync'd but the car could not pick it up. I did use the AV cables but I'm the kind of person that wants EVERYTHING working properly. Still have a problem with the screen saying the AV cables are in when they are not. Going to my dealer next week.
  13. Thanks so much for this tip. I followed your instructions and ordered one. I too had concern about the screen. When the sun hits it just right, with all the fingerprints, you can hardly see it. Thanks again.
  14. Wilson did you replace fuse 29 or just take it out and put it back in?
  15. Wilson, Forgive me I am not technically inclined... When you say you disconnect/connect the iPhone do you mean you turn it on and off? Turn the car on and off?
