  1. Does anyone know if the 2011 Edge has an alarm LED, similar to the Explorer? I have not been able to see any indication that the alarm is active.
  2. I have not been able to find any information on this subject. What I plan to do is install a DPDT 12 volt relay, which will activate when the Edge is running. When the relay energizes, it will disconnect the LED's from the vehicle's electrical system, and supply +12v to the LED's. By using a relay, the LED's will be lit when the Edge is running, but when the ignition is off, the LED's will operate normally with the lock/unlock function. Power for the relay will be supplied from the under hood fuse box, using a Littlefuse tap, available at Pep Boys.
  3. My Limited did the same thing yesterday. Just like a Microsoft PC, I shut the car off, and re-started, and the camera was back to normal.
  4. I too am a former X5 owner. I've driven BMW's since 1970, and this is the first non-BMW that I've owned. Very happy with my Edge Limited. Even though there a few bugs in SYNC, they are nothing compared to BMW's lousy electronics. Ford did a great job with the new Edge, and I don't miss my X5 at all.
  5. The cargo cover is a joke. when my wife saw it, she could not stop laughing. Ford could have done a much better job on this one.
  6. I just took delivery of my 2011. Same color, but Stone interior. I agree with everything you stated, including the SYNC system being a little buggy, but I really did not expect anything more from Microsoft....At least I have not gotten any blue screens yet. The only two things I don't like are the plastic chrome wheel covers, and the fact that the vertical LED's in the grill do not function as Daytime Running lights.
