  1. When i got my Sport the day before Christmas I was informed by the dealer that they would buy it back from me that day as they could get a higher price for it as there is so much demand for them, and they are getting very hard to get. In the Vancouver area there are very few of any of them on the lots.
  2. I can see when you first start using MFT that it can be a little intimidating, having driven a Dakota for the last 10 years this was a big learning curve. It has taken me a few days to get use to it. Because of the new tech with MyFord CR testers might not feel comfortable with it. As for the brakes and motor,I really don't know what the big problem is. The Dakota I had was a v-8 and the factory brakes on it were poor at best. The motor performance was way better then both the GM and Dodge crossovers. As I have a Sport Edge it goes like a scolded rabbit. The only real peave I have had so far is the volumn on Nav is to low and I cannot find out how to increase it, and passenger seat does not go back as far as my wife would like.
  3. By the way has any body checked out Page 34 of the manual. The person who put this together must of had a sence of humor. 139.5 miles 28.5 MPG 300.5 Gal 58:44 Now I don't know about you but something looks wrong there. Either they had a fuel truck following it or a large fuel tank. Must of been a pretty straight road as well as you would have had to be going 140+ MPH After four days I finally got everything set where I want it. Now just need to wait until spring to test it out.
  4. One thing about it, it is harder to turn off then turn on. Now that I have everything setup should be no problem. At least that is my story and i'm sticking to it. LOL
  5. We have not had much snow here yet, but it does hold the road nice with black ice.
  6. I have to agree with you on the emergency button. I have hit it numerious times while programing screen. Need smaller fingers to turn off as it goes on by touching outer area, but you need to push the inner part to turn off.
  7. One thing I never worry about when I order a new vehicle is what is it going to be like on its lid. I would be more worried about if the motor decides to sit in the front seat with me or if the rear deck lid turns into a dashboard. By the way it is rated good on other lists including Truck Trends.
  8. 2003 PT Cruiser this is the wifes ride. I just pay the bills.
  9. When we first started looking for a new vehicle Ford was not even on the list. Chev and Dodge person all my life. Even looked at a Mazda. It was then the wife said to look at a Ford. The only one they had at dealer was a plain jane SE model. Took it out for about half hour and was hooked. Why the edge even though it was more money will it is like this. The Dodge journey is a piece of junk; if you don't care about inside and outside finish then by it, but it is gutless and even with the seat as high as it would go I could not see over the hood properly. By the way I am 5'10" high and owneda Dodge Dakota so was expecting more from Dodge. Both Chev Exquinox and GMC Terrane do not have the power that I wanted. To put it bluntly they had no pulling power, step on the gas and wait for the responce. We ordered the Edge Sport with all options except Sun roof and DVD system. We got it the day before Christmas and are still working on understanding all the features of the car. Just put on snow tires for the winter as I don't want to rune the 22" spoke wheels. The only draw back so far is trying to store the wheels for the winter.
  10. Just got my new Edge Sport. Love the ride and even though it is over 4000 pounds can move when I want it to. Just put on Snow tires for winter, boy are those 22" puppy's heavy, but sure look good. I am looking at getting a bug shield for it. Any recomendation out there.
