  1. Mine came from the dealer with nitrogen. There are so many Tire Plus type locations around, I wouldn't think it would be very hard to find nitro if you needed a refill.
  2. Just tested the USB with some music downloads. Finally seeing the album art, that I was never able to see before. Looks like all is good!
  3. Bluetooth has worked just fine. USB test is on the schedule for tomorrow!
  4. Just came back from picking up my Edge, after the APIM was replaced. I'm happy to report that everything is working perfectly. I've tested most of the functions and will try out the remaining ones tomorrow, but so far, so good! I also realized how much I missed my Edge after driving an Escape for 3 days....yuck! :-)
  5. Well, everything had been going great with my 2011 Edge Sport until this weekend. I turned the car on after running into the store and my screen went blank. No audio, no navigation, no back up camera - similar to what many have posted here. MFT version was the latest at 2.4. Took it into the dealer today and they confirmed it needs a new APIM. Hope to have it back tomorrow and we'll see how it goes from there. This forum has been extremely helpful in understanding the issues (and many of the challenges). Thanks to everyone for posting and sharing your experiences. I still think the Edge is a great vehicle and hope that this minor setback is just that....minor! Thanks,
  6. I've had my Edge for a little over a month and have just under 1000 miles on it. I have not had any issues whatsoever. The vehicle has been a pleasure to drive! I think this forum is a good one for research, but remember that people have a tendency to share more negative experiences than positive ones. Good luck in your decision making process!
  7. I test drove both the Limited and the Sport, just to be sure that I really wanted the Sport. I was attracted to it because of the styling, the extra horsepower and the 22" wheels, as many others here have commented. I picked up my Sport on 1/26/11. To be honest with you, I don't feel a "stiffer ride" from the Sport compared to the Limited. It is still very comfortable to me and I like the pick up when I need to pull into traffic. I love the Vista roof and use it quite frequently living in FL. I've had absolutely no problems or issues with my vehicle. The My Touch works just fine and I haven't experienced any problems with sluggishness or reboots or anything. Regardless of which model you choose, I don't think you'll go wrong with an Edge! Good luck with your decision.
  8. I couldn't get one either. Ordered the brochure, but no coupon.....Oh well, still got a great deal!
  9. I picked up my 2011 Sport on 1/26 and have had no issues with Sync either. I have a MyTouch 4g synced to it and have used my iPod without any problems at all. I've used the nav a couple of times, made phone calls, used the voice activated features and all is well. I'd say the only "complaint" I have is the glare on the screen when I have that wonderful Vista roof open, but I can't blame the system on that when I have nice sunny weather in Florida! :-)
  10. Looks great! This may be a silly question, but does it come pre-cut to fit or did you have to do that all yourself? Thanks.
  11. I picked up the Ford Edge rubber mats today for my 2011 and I am pleased with them. They fit well (as one would expect!) and seem to be of good quality. The only down side is the slightly higher price than buying from after market companies. To answer the previous poster's question about whether the passenger rubber mat is longer than the factory carpet mat, it is by about 3 inches. I was considering buying the cargo liner from Ford, too, but found one on Streetsideauto.com for over $30 less. I've ordered other items from them and like the quality, so I'll post once I receive the cargo liner.
  12. It was those 22" wheels that hooked me on the sport!
  13. I've had my Edge now for about 4 days and I'm very happy with it! I've had absolutely no issues with the Touch system or anything else for that matter. I love the way it rides and I'm still getting used to all the features. Here's a picture of my Edge.
  14. I picked up my 2011 Edge Sport on Wednesday. I have not had any issues with the Touch system. It did reboot once on my way home from the dealer, but figured that occurred because the sales guy and I did some of the updates from the website vs. in the vehicle right before I left. I do think the system has a slight delay at times, however I am not sure yet if it is the system or me still getting used to the touch - applying the right amount of pressure for the right amount of time, etc. This is similar to what I experienced when I recently switched to a new smart phone and it took me a bit of time to get used to it. Thanks.
