I think it is ABS or something, feel the same in my new Explorer, just getting use to part.

I now have 11 Edge, 11 Explorer (Traded in Taurus), and 12 Fusion.

This weekend got me a new 2011 Explorer, I got the base model, it is pretty decently loaded. No sattelite radio (don't listen to it) and no sync (miss it little bit). What a big difference, this thing is huge from inside compared to Edge. Nice for long distance travel. Still have the Edge too.

No issues since 2.8 upgrade

No car wash just refueling and no rust spraying. Still happening at times, come to stop sign and it takes longer then usual at times it normal. Not much worried, will just take it to the dealer.

No issue on highway, just slow speed rolling out of Gas station, it didn't stop when I applied brakes softly, cross traffic almost hit me. Also it stopped as soon as I appled brakes in panic. Will have dealer check it out. Thanks

Took a 1500 mile trip in my 2011 Edge Limited, Fuel economy was 27.6 MPG average. But had a strange problem with the brakes, seemed like there was a delay in the braking from pressing the brake pedal to when the brakes start activating. At one place almost got in an accident, coming out of gas station and pressed the brakes at STOP sign but car kept roling and then finally stopped. Anyone has experienced similar issue? Thanks

MKX vs Edge, I think Edge is lot better looking and Lincoln has that stigma of being old persons car......my 2cents

Had 1st issue after 2.8 install, it won't remeber the time after being turned off, started this morning. Everything else is ok so far.

V 2.8 is working fine so I am not going to mess with anything.

All VVT cars make the same noise, Nissan, Toyota,... I won't worry about it. My 2011 TAurus does the same.

For MFT you can get the new update V2.8 that just came out. But as far as Gage cluster, seems like some other issue.

Does anyone know when is Pandora app coming for Edge/ MKX. Also how will it work, thru Sync OR thru your phone. Thanks for your help

What version are you guys running V2.4, V2.7, V2.8. I had this issue with I-phone on V 2.4. I had to sync it with itunes and then remove sync off the I phone and also delete phone off of sync. And reconnect, since then no issues. Hope this helps.

Why would you trade it in for 2011 Explorer, you can drive your wifes......

Running V2.8 update for about a week and so far so good. After the update had to reconnect the phone, IPod, and reconfigure all the stuff. But it seems to be running ok...I do not have NAV

I think its worth buying, well have some ssues with MFT but its working fine after V2.8 update. I enjoy driving it everyday.

I test drove the 11 Journey before I test drove the 11 Edge. Journey has nice features bjut it can not beat features in Edge Limited. Also styling is far better in Edge, all the interior materials are better. Journey is more like a station wagon then CUV. Also it is Dodge, so resale value is very horrible. Edge has higher resale value then Journey. Edge has far better gas mileage then Journey. In city Edge is upto 21 MPG and highway at 70 MPH it is 28.5 MPG, Journey good luck.
