  2. GRP2011, I contacted sync, and please see their reply below. The Technical Service Bulletin 10-24-9 has been sent to the dealers for the My Touch System. Please contact them and schedule an appointment to bring in your vehicle for them to perform the update to your Ford My Touch system. Any dealer should be able to perform this update and the update is for the known issues that have been reported with the system. We apologize for any inconvenience. This is a well known issue with the My Ford/Lincoln Touch systems, and many vehicles were having problems with it. However, an update has been released that will resolve the issue that you are having. Hope this helps.

  5. I had a problem with my Iphone, I reconnected it to Itunes and updated it, since then its been okay.
  6. First time had an issue, 2nd time it worked. Are you adding a new code OR replacing the factory code. 1st line Enter factory code, 2nd line enter new code and it will be done

  8. GRP2011, I emailed sync, lets see what they say about this issue. I'll keep you posted. I thing to do is reset the whole system but then i got to go thru everything again.

  10. Same issue here, Looks like Sync resetted itself this weekend for some reason. I tried to toggle back but it stops January 2029.
  11. Good to know, I need to set mine to turn on Automatically too, but then in garage it never gets to 32 deg anyways...so they maynot turn on.
  12. This morning started the car and saw that the time and Date was way off.....looked like MyTouch Sync resetted itself somehow. I was able to set the time back to normal but still haven't figured out how to change the date on it. Need to go home read the book. Temp and other settings were ok. Has anyone else experienced this before?
  13. I prefer 3.5L over 4 Cyl. Ecoboost anyday. Usually Turbos require more maintenance and the MPG advantage is yet to be seen. Not to compare it with Mazda CX7 (2.3L turbo) but is very close, MPG is lower then 3.5L V6

  15. I have limited with Driver entry pckg. and it was stickered at $36230, I wanted to get SEL which was $34xxxx, they didn't have the SEL, so to make the sale he gave me invoice and $1500 off, it was aover $3k off.

  17. Look under the seat and see if there are some connectors that are not plugged into anything.

    Engine noise

    All the new cars have the noise. I think it ssomething to do with Variable valve timing. My both 2011 Taurus & Edge have it, My 08 Titan had it, 09 Tundra had it. What is common VVT. Now my 08 Nitro 3.7 didnt have it.

  21. LALarry, Actually BMW quality has worsened thru the years and I think BMW is no longer in top 5 for quality. My fried has a 05 X5 and it is in shop every couple of months for some light coming on. akirby, yes I could have handled differently, but 1st I was bummed out due to the issue, I guess as I am getting older I am becoming perfectionist. I took it to the dealer and they said they will order but never gave me a ticket for it. When I called later to check it wasn't ordered. And maybe they did order and Ford just made sure it got there. I had a bad experince with my Nitro, it had a leak and it took them about 3.5 months to get the part to fix the leak. Sometimes when the cars are new replacement parts are usually dealer direct. I just wanted to avid that. I don't question dealer service because they are good in what they do both sales and service, thats why I went and got an Edge and didnt look elsewhere.

Well on Thursday I took some pictures of the defective A-pillar and send it directly to Mr. Allan Mulally (President of Ford) and today in the morning I had a voicemail on my cell phone stating that the new A-pillar is already deliverd at the dealership and they have already spoken to the service department and I can take there and it will immediately taken care of. And if I stilll have problems then guy left me his cell phone no. to call. NOW THAT IS SOME CUSTOMER SERVICE THAT I HAVE NEVER HEARD OF AND NEVER RECEIVED....................WAY TO GO FORD
