nope..cant drop it..it would be too close..remember a women drives this..I know mine isn't as careful as I am..I gotta leave her a little room to play with without messing anything up..Like it sits no no rub front or back..full lock turn..if I lower it..I think it will rub..and give me a harsher ride.

It does not ride as smooth as it did with the stockers..but I will sacrifice ride for looks any day..thats just me. BUT with that said..the ride is really smooth..espically for the size tire..I was impressed..I will have them rebalanced after I put a few hundred miles on them..they will be even smoother after that. yea..not a whole lot of rubber on there..but its sufficient. I used a ole' trick..that i read about with a can o' paint. Sucks I was only 200feet away from a u-haul..and didn't even cross my mind..I kinda want a ford hitch cover though.. The TPS sensors bands are not universal..but I found a cheap way around it..cost about 10 bucks for all the straps..LOL We got 24" ZIP TIES used for air conditioning..and bought a zipper strap tightener that gets them really really tight and used some new 3m double sided tape..worked like a champ. No low tire lights on or anything.. also flat blacked the caliper's too..I think my braking actually improved with the use of high heat paint..LMAO maybe it was the flat black..if I had of used gloss it would have made the braking worse..thats my theory..

hard to believe that a canned tune is larger then a custom file for my 6.0 Ford.. so if its only one tune the x-cal 2 should hold ONE tune just fine..being as it is able to hold three..

Well..like the title says..I got some new wheels. I was going with a hyper silver version of the wheels that I have now. I was told yesterday..my wheels would be in at 10am this morning..so I arrive at 9:45am..I get there and the guy says..have you talked to Lou?(he is the owner) I said no. I knew from that point it wasn't gonna go as planned..He then tells me the wheels have been damaged during shipment to the distributor. I said well how bad is it? They tell me they will get them there and we will check them out..so he calls the distributor and said send them over here and let us look at them..they then tell us they are the wrong color..Chrome and not hyper silver..I was like dang..that sux..but I was also pissed because the story was progressively changing..not Lou's fault, the distributor fault..so I say you know what..send the chrome ones over and let me take a look..then they tell us sorry..they have been sold..I was like WTF!!!! this was total bull..so after and hour of arguing with the distributor and a phone call to the Regional manager of the distribution center they agree to tell the other party that they could not have them and they would send them to us..So all of that said..here they are are..I left the tire place at 4:00.. wow..police enforcement..what a joke..so if an officer is a 'car guy' you wont know the difference.. like you said..so many bigger fish to fry to worry about someone adding BETTER lights.. I can see alot of cases of he said she said ..and alot of issues going to court for proof.. waste of time and tax dollars..lets have the Police keep us safe from child abductors,rapeset, thieves murder..you know...the IMPORTANT STUFF!!

if you weren't concerned with keeping the stock TPMS system intact..could you just use the ones off the stock wheels and put them on the 22's? I was looking the the site you posted and it said 14" to 26"..so I am just planning on using the stuff I already have. Hopefully that will work..My wheels will be here tomorrow.

The x-cal2 are vin locked and just changing your vehicle back to stock does not unlock the tuner. there is a process. I know the process to unlock them..they can be unlocked up to 5 times. BUT like said above apparently the x-cal 2 will not work on the edge..My tuner posted up on the SCT forum..and they said the same thing but no exact reason for having to do so was given. So as of now..I think you have to use the x-cal 3 which sucks.

nice..My father in law is a customer service liaison at Brumos Porsche in Jacksonville Florida.. I love the Cayennes..they are bad ass..the one I want is a 109k...it will be a while..LOL For me though it would be hard to go from a Porsche to a Ford though.. although they have nothing but bad reviews..

Sweet..I would love to do the front end,heads and fogs..I did they film on the tails to smoke them..and it was horrible to get it to lay down..I couldn't imagine trying to install it on the front end of the truck..it would probably be hell.. What would you charge me to apply the clear film on the heads you have and then send them to me and let me send you my cores back..I would rather you do it then myself.. I put a film on our IS300 that had a blue tint..and it was hard to get to lay too..but no where near as hard as it was for the tint I got for these tails..maybe its the quality of the film? I needed to talk to you about the darkness of the tails aswell..I want mine to be much lighter then scoops..hopefully its acheviable.. what I have on it now almost matches the pewter color of the truck..I like that ALOT..

are you actually tinting them or applying laminix? I would be interested if its laminx..I would like to have the clear laminx on my headlights..to help prevent road grime eating into them..

you CAN put 24's on it if you want rubber band size tires..I think the smallest 24" tire they make is 255/35/24 and its tiny..most people go with a 22" and run a 285/35/22

i am on alot of forums..and I moderate one of them as well..this is a great forum..but people do seem to get carried away sometimes..I know its all in good fun but sometimes its better if you don't say anything at all..if you don't have anything to add to the topic at hand. i know that I have read some really dumb post here that totally deserver a dumb reply..but there is a time and a place for everything.. I am not taking a side here..but I wish too sometimes it were more serious at times.. I am not gonna block anyone..its not that big of a deal..but sometimes (tits) gets old...lol

hey good hands.. look..the factory tires are 245/60/18 his new tires are 285/35/22 http://www.discounttire.com/dtcs/infoTireMath.dos go here and enter in those specs ans see how close it really is..tire is only 1.57" wider and the speedometer will only be off by .62 MPH..thats about as close as you can get.. thats the same size tires I will be using. That chart is a good reference..anytime you go aftermarket.
