Hello, I'm the owner of a 2011 Ford Edge SEL with the 3.5L V6. Just had to replace the throttle body at 38,800 miles. The vehicle lost power, would not accelerate and the yellow wrench appeared on the instrument panel. Only way to correct problem was to restart engine. Anyone else have this issue. I'm disappointed with this type of failure at such low mileage (and of course after warranty expired) Cost was close to $600. Thank you.

My system worked fine until I installed the new software. Now my radio does not work and my phone does not sync.

I too sometimes hear the chime and don't see the alert. I don't think it's adjustable. Perhaps the new 2012 version will fix the problem.

Is there a way to increase the length of time the alert notice appears on the screen? Sometimes my alert disappears so fast, I don’t have time to press the button to tune into the radio station.

Hello, An orange explanation point (!) appears on the upper-right INFORMATION tab (the green tab). Can anyone tell me what this means? I don't know if this has anything to do with it, but when I do select the INFORMATION tab, it prompts me to install applications/updates. When I do this, it tells me the file is not found and to please check that the installation file is in the root directory of your storage device. Anyone else getting this? Thanks.

I've had my 2011 Edge SEL since May 2011 and although I've had issues with MFT, I'd buy it again. It's a great vehicle.

Does anyone have a 2011 Edge with a rattle in the dash? I have a rattle that goes away if I press on the vertical trim piece that runs from the top of the dash down to the center counsel (see red arrow on the attached photo). Just looking for a fix. Thanks.2011Edge.bmp

I had my dealer upload 2.11 to my 2011 Edge on Friday and my radio froze up "again" on Saturday.

Ford did a great job engineering the Edge, but screwed up big time by putting a bug-infested Sync system into each one. Who wants to spend $30,000+ and pull a fuse or remove the battery terminal every other day? This is why I was reluctant to buy a Ford.

Hi, I have another question I'm hoping someone can weigh-in on. When I ask the system to call someone listed on my address book (for example, Jane Smith), the voice will say: "Calling Jane Smith on other". Can someone explain why it says "on other"? Every name I call is followed up my "...on other" Thanks.

Shantz, Thanks for posting the photo. I don't know how I missed that. I do like the extra chrome beltline trim.

Do you have any photos? I looked online at the 2012 Limited and I don't see a difference in the emblem.

The lesson here.... "Look it over good before you drive it off the lot". The friendly salesperson isn't so friendly and helpful after you drive it off the lot.

It should illuminate (light blue color) when your headlights are on.

I purchased a new 2011 Edge SEL two weeks ago. Just a little over 1,200 miles. No complaints so far. I'm very pleased with this vehicle.
