  1. I had to take in the TSB for them to do it right. TSB 12-6-2
  2. First of all thank you very much for noticing this. Before I saw this I had already made the appointment with my local dealer (Mike Bass Ford) and worked with their Quick Lube manager Chris. I dropped the car off and it turns out only one of the 2 tires had a bead leak (the other one had a nail which I couldn't see). He once again fixed the rim with the bead leak and assured me that even though I would be out of warranty very shortly, it has been well documented and shouldn't be a problem going forward. If I do need to bring it again, we might have to find a more permanent solution. I will keep you in my back pocket if this happens again. Thanks No, there is an updated TSB 12-6-2
  3. I had the TSB performed on all 4 tires and within a week 2 are leaking again. So back to the dealership I go. I think part of it is the super cold weather we have been getting. Maybe the tires are compressing and pulling off the seal. Just a guess, but man am I annoyed. Considering I only have 600 miles left on my warranty. This sucks.
  4. Yeah I was going to tell them that they all leak with some being worse than others to get all 4 done.
  5. I have not taken it in to Ford yet. I plan on doing that really soon. What is the updated TSB number? As a side note I didn't know there was TSB for the tires and I took it to Ford Quick Lube and they struggled with stopping the leak but they "claimed" they got it and charged me the 20 bucks. This was the 2nd time I took it back too. They shouldn't have charged me anything if there was a TSB and fixed it right. I am taking it to the service department next time and they will get an earful.
  6. More than 1 are leaking. The one is leaking pretty bad...filling up once a week (so annoying). And yes it is around the bead. After reading some more I am wondering if it is a problem with the rims and not a bent rim. Others seem to have similar problems.
  7. So as others have stated the 22" in tires that seem to slow leak like crazy. I have been to the Ford dealer and they say that I have a bent rim because they can rotate the tire around and the the leak is in the same area. Besides that tire the other seem to leak more often then any other tires I have ever had and am getting fed up. I love my 22's but at what cost. So here are my options that I have considered (with questions): - try to find somewhere to machine the "bent rim". Not sure how much success people have had with that. - buy a replacement rim so I don't have to keep refilling it every week - ditch the 22's and move down to a set of 20's. This would also benefit me in the cost of upcoming tires (I am still on the originals). Not sure if I have to do any centering or anything for this? Any thoughts would be appreciated.
  8. I have a 2011 Ford Edge and got the letter in the mail about the Sync Update and see others on here have done the installation. I went to the Ford site but it says I am up to date with v3.5.1. Is it showing up for anyone else or have they not released it via the site yet?
  9. Tint looks sweet. Wish Ohio would let me go darker. Would like to get the factory back tint on all 4
  10. To all the detailing experts out there. What is the best method to remove salt stains from carpet? My all weather mats leaked down onto the carpet and I know if I leave the stains they will become very hardened and impossible to get rid of...past experience.
  11. Ford only has front splash guards for the Edge. Are these after market?
  12. I was wondering if anyone put the Ford ones on. I love my 2011 Sport but the water/dirt/salt that the 22's kick up on the door panels is crazy. Now that I know it can be done, I will probably pick up a set for the front
  13. what was the total cost on the tires/wheels?
  14. Dr Edge, Did you have to go with the hub centric rings to go to those 18's?
  15. Actually reinstalled the update with the car running the entire time. I actually got the update successful but syncmyride hasn't update me from 2.4 yet or reported by vehicle health report so I won't know with 100% certainty if I am on 2.11
  16. I installed 2.11 last night. The download took FOREVER but it could have just been my internet connection. As most have stated the update process took about 45 min. Like rogersmj I got a little freaked out when I went out to my car and the screen was black except a warning about battery shutoff. I started the car and it went through the "Scheduled Maintenance" portions. One thing to note is that I went to run a vehicle health report and the screen froze with a grey box in the middle of the screen and had to shut the car off to reset it. This IS NOT encouraging...
  17. Has anyone installed splash guards on their Edge Sport? I see on the Ford Accessories site that they have only front splash guards for the 2011 Edge, but doesn't list if they will fit on the Sport with the 22's. Also, is it possible to install rear guards as well? If anyone has any pics that would be awesome. I am tired of seeing my black edge covered in dirt as the 22's definitely extend past the wheel well and throw a good amount off the road.
  18. I have noticed this as well but figured out that it kept the time from the last time I shut off the car. It always fixed itself the next time I started her up, but definitely annoying. I am on v2.4 and might be making an appt for 2.11
  19. The standard power liftgate on the Sport would have been handy. Still not sure why HID is not available on the Sport Model...baffled
  20. I do plan on using the sheeting effect next time I give her a bath. I am hoping that would help too.
