What is the $750 Ford mailer coupon? I would assume that it gets mailed to you (I am known as Captain Obvious in some circles)....but how did you come across it? Anything special other than just opening your mail? Any extras laying around?

I'm a little bummed now. I kinda liked the Moto Q...but I am with Sprint so it may work differently for me. ..if at all. Hopefully. A couple guys I work with both drive Acuras with bluetooth connectivity and they are have a tough time pairing their phones to their vehicles. Both use Verizon one has a Treo, which he no longer uses with the car. It frequently dropped the bluetooth connection. The phone also had the most recent software updates. He bought a bluetooth earpeice which works great. The other guy just kept switching phones till he found one that worked. He ended up with a RAZR, but I am not sure which one. On a side note: "In summary, the LG VVX!0000 Voyager is the tits." Please omit the word "the" in the future. Take pride in your use of "tits". :shades:

lol. Looks like everyone is enjoying "The Word of the Forum" Just to confirm, you do use the Q with Sprint right? I think it makes a difference. I think the Q is tits. Of course, I only use it sync my outlook contacts. And with google maps....won't be needing google maps so much anymore...except for maybe live traffic info. Can you look up a contact from your phone with the NAV system and Sync so you don't have to type in the address?

I just ordered an Edge (11/10/07). Judging by what I am seeing in these Forums, the VIN numbers are generated pretty quickly. When I asked my salesman for the VIN number he said that it isn't available until the car is built. Did I miss something? Can I submit an order number to someone and get the VIN that way?

I did try it out when I was in the dealership (on a sedan of some sort) and couldn't get it to pair up. I didn't try very hard, just turned on Bluetooth and allowed other Bluetooth devices to see my phone and it didn't connect.

Just thought I would mention that I recently ordered a '08 Limited Edge. I noticed that my phone is not currently on the compatibility list. You know. Just in case you were wonder which phone to add next. Sure would be t!ts if I could use my Edge with my Windows Mobile equipped phone. I'm just sayin'. :shades:

I'll say. It took me a while to figure out you were just knocking on someone else. I read this post before I read sour's post. I am amused and embarrassed at the same time. I even remember thinking that the posts looked similar and thought it odd that someone was having so many problems. Almost didn't buy an Edge actually. whoops. lol.

Any chance you are leaving the key in the ignition? The Edge does have "smartlocks" that automatically unlock the car if the key is left in the ignition and the power door locks are used to lock the car while the front doors or liftgate are open (and then closed I assume). ...or the autolocks are wired wrong...if that's even possible.

I am curious about that too. I do not have much experience with protected music. I downloaded the free tracks from www.syncmyride.com and copied them to my USB drive and tried to play them on another computer only to get a protection error message. Will this also happen when I try to play these tracks via SYNC?

I currently own an '04 Grand Prix GTP Comp Edition with crome wheels. As described by 07 MKX, the cromed aluminum wheels are very suseptable to corrosion. I have to get the wheels re-sealed every 4 months because of corrosion. It sucks. For better or worse, I bought a warranty on my tires from a shop (even though I didn't buy the tires from them). They re-seal my tires at no additional charge each time now. I think I got lucky, I don't think they should be doing that for me. If it were my business, I would not offer that warranty. I anticipate that the crome plastic covers are going to be easier and cheaper to replace than chromed aluminum wheels. I could use some more info on those wheels too. Any chance any of the Edge owners want to post some pics with the crome plastic wheel cover pulled off? I will not get chomed aluminum wheels again. I cannot tell if the wheel is plastic or metal unless I knock on it anyway.

Can someone confirm that the dash is black on the 08's with a camel interior. I saw it in the 08 brochure and I like it so I want to verify before I order.
