To those of you with no bluetooth streaming audio controls: I had the same thing, and under a hunch did a master reset and that fixed the problem. Now I have bluetooth text and controls!

I wish my dealer would give me an SD card, they said I have to wait for the package in the mail. All 3 dealers in my area told me the same thing.

I was thinking the same thing Although first batch could be the dealers..... I'm hoping to get it this week, i need my SD card!

update on the bluetooth: MUCH BETTER. I was constantly having to ask people "what" and to "say that again" same for them, they would ask me what and that it was "whooshing" in the background now it is crystal clear, on both ends!

When I bought my edge it had a bad apim, dealer replaced and that one was bad too. Ordered another one and all has been fine So multiple bad apims are a possibility!

I had this problem with 2.11, before the new update. I havn't had this problem yet with the new update..but I've only had the new update for a few days now.

Trip to the dealer sounds in order. Try disconnecting battery for a half hour or so and try again. My guess is that since install started the system doesn't have an OS to run, so dealer will have to fix

just looked at mine again. noticed the driver side one is quite a bit looser in there than the passenger side. seems like its just a plastic cosmetic piece that sits in there, maybe i'll swing by the dealer, i just don't want any water leaks.

thanks for the replys guys. maybe next oil change i'll mention it. My driver side one has some flex to it when i push it down and the passenger side does not. maybe its not attached properly?

for those of you with a 2012/11 edge with sunroof do me a huge favor and let me know if your roof looks like this: The attached pictures are of the upper driver and passenger corners of my windshield. The passenger side is first picture, driver side is second picture. The driver side looks like the "seal" from the windshield doesn't cover it, and the plastic part the goes the length of the vehicle is at a different angle. Do yours look like this by chance? or is this something i should bring upto the dealer? Thanks! passenger: Driver:

So update is installed. Haven't played with it much, but it is definitely faster! When I do have nav, So i just took out my SD card and will wait for the new one to arrive in the mail. I did notice that the nav area still says the street that i'm on. I haven't driven yet since the update so not sure if it will go away or not, if I try to touch the navigation portion nothing happens, oh well, its expected. Now i just need the SD card! edit: anyone with nav thats done the update with no SD card have the top right corner "frozen" on a street? My compass moves and points in right direction (which is a surprise with no SD card) but if I am on anyscreen but the home screen it is "stuck" on the street i did the install on. if i am on the home screen it says "insert SD card"

Downloaded and installed. I have nav so that isn't working right now, but thats ok. Install took about 45 minutes.

I called the myford touch support number. I asked if I can download the update and just plug in the map SD card when it arrives in the mail. they said yes but the nav function won't work until then (obviously) I just wanted to hear it officially that I can download and update and then wait for SD card to arrive. Updating now

for those of you that care.... Dealer did some research for me: Older stock (for the edge) windshields sometimes do not say Soundscreen, newer ones do. They ordered in two windshields to see what they would say. Both same part numbers, one said soundscreen the other one did not. Ended up going back to safelite, as they had one come in stock that said soundscreen and was going to put it in under "warranty" So they put it in, and it is MUCH quieter, but he is guessing it is from the leaks they found from the other install. ALTHOUGH...this windshield they put in has a small flaw of a black piece of dirt in between the two panes of glass....right in my field of view. They are putting in yet another one on monday...that says soundscreen at least and hopefully no flaw.

I have a 2012 limited, so I have acoustic side glass up front. There was a definite increase in road noise after the replacement

thanks for the help guys (gals?) It is pretty obvious safelite is either lying to me or they just don't realize what I mean when I say i have the wrong windshield. My replacement should say Soundscreen and it doesn't, and it does not say acoustic anywhere. and the BA letter/number combo on my replacement says AA (not sure if that means anything or not) I also noticed quite a bit of frost/ice buildup on the inside of the windshield tonight, that I could scrape off with my fingernail which tells me there is a leak and it is not installed properly. I called my credit card company and disputed the charge, and will get it replaced at the dealer body shop. I've had enough with safelite

On the picture, I looked and the stamp on my window, all numbers line up except for one. The 2nd line from the bottom starts with AA on mine, but the one posted on the picture starts with BA I'll call safelight tomorrow and tell them I want one that says soundscreen

thanks for the replys. the guy that does the installs for the dealer is going to his warehouse tomorrow, and will look at a windshield for the edge to see if it indeed says soundscreen on it, but as far as he knows it should say soundscreen. all the part numbers safelite is giving me match, it is just missing the logo etched onto the windshield itself. I might just call back tomorrow and ask saflite to find me one that says soundscreen. this is annoying....
