  1. Long time no see, but we finally did get back into an Edge here in the UK; 2017 Sport 2.0 diesel 210bhp - purchased March ‘22. Still reasonably rare here and would like a red facelift ST Line one day, but glad to be back
  2. Average yeah - not too bad I guess, I can live with it for the look of the car! Previous UK car (Citroen C4 Picasso) would get 45-50 and my other car (Mini Cooper D) does 62! But our 2013 Edge SEL 2.0EB used to get around 21 (18 US) Lol, yes took a while to get used to again after living in Canada, but we stuck with Autos after having 3 there!
  3. Real world it’s getting 28-30 ?
  4. Yeah it’s true, the Edge can’t be ordered new in the UK now, but it’s made the used prices go back up by about £2k from what I can see, they’re just a bit too expensive here! Kuga (Escape) sells A LOT more, ours is ST Line-X with every option except tow bar, and I had the deep impact blue as it’s the best colour and most ST looking - the UK one has full body kit the Escape doesn’t have afaik? It’s 2.0 diesel with 180hp, pretty quick but bad on fuel!
  5. Well I’ve been away from here for a few years (back in the UK for 5 1/2 years now actually!) and still not back in an Edge - we came close but the numbers didn’t work (they give really poor future values on credit for them here) so I got us into a 2017 Kuga (Escape) ST line and loving it so far. Maybe the next car will be an Edge, if only they sold the ST here...! The new 2020 Puma looks nice but too small, and not keen on the 2020 Kuga/Escape... Good to see this sites still going strong
  6. Thanks - looks like the Sport is a diesel here! "208bhp 2.0-litre biturbo diesel, fitted with a six-speed automatic gearbox and four-wheel drive"
  7. Just checking in for first time in many months to see all the new 16/17s... We're back in the UK 2 years this month and miss our Edge - and Canada - every day! Only seen a black test mule on the streets here so far but Edge is coming, except for now at least I'll need a lottery win to get one (Sport, blue I think!) but then it would come up against an F-Pace and might lose out Driving this at the moment because we now have 3 children and need 3 child seats across the back row
  8. Nice to see all the 2015's appearing on the site, I sure as hell wish I was still in Canada and in the market for one, I miss my Edge! Back in the uk now for work and family and the only way I'll be realistically getting in one of these is a lottery win at the moment! At least the Edge will be coming to uk soon for the first time Anyway, the topic is about the all black rims from the sport show cars; are they not available yet, are they an expensive option? I feel like the stock wheels are not as special, 1 size too small, not tough enough, anyone else feel the same or planning to change your rims?
  9. OEM 17" rims and winter tires for sale in Montreal Light use for 2 winters, around 4000kms Yokohama Geolander tires 245/65/R17 Local pick only as shipping will be too much Starting them at CAD900$ but open to offers Here's the kijiji ad http://www.kijiji.ca/v-pneus-jantes/longueuil-rive-sud/ford-edge-2011-17-oem-winter-mags-and-tires-plus-tpms/596796798?siteLocale=en_CA
  10. A little update: so I'm not getting a Fusion and I will be giving up the Edge instead I'm moving back to the UK because I got a job offer I can't refuse (working on The Division for those who know what it is) and our children need to grow up knowing their family! At first we'll be in an old car for a while but maybe once things settle down I'll look at the 2015 Mondeo or Edge!
  11. Thanks, one of the reasons I chose this model was the interior, its the appearance package seats, leather and perforated alcantara. Hard to keep clean though, even water leaves a mark if not cleaned immediately!
  12. Here you go, a test with Jeep Cherokee wheels and Tires - looks good with Black rims, would also help to have roof rails I think
  13. Update, car is live on LeaseBusters now with $1000 incentive http://www.leasebusters.com/details.asp?id=157480
  14. Test drove Escape 1.6 Ecoboost today and it's a dog IMO, slow, loud and rough... Maybe the fact it was under 100km didn't help, plus the Escape felt like a shell compared to the Edge... 1.5 Fusion was much better, still not enough power but if possible it was more refined, plus the car felt more upscale Decisions... Would love to just keep the Edge though!!
