  1. First rendering based off the leaked image of the 2015 Edge, plus info on the various models http://www.carscoops.com/2013/10/future-cars-treading-new-territory-with.html Not bad but I hope that it looks better than this, too much like other current cars and not enough like the Fusion, Focus and Fiesta styling
  2. On yours I'd say all black, although all blue looks good like the app pack too - definitely no two-tone. And paint the chrome top bar
  3. Added pics of mine to get this started, SEL app pack with 3M on the top grille chrome and not much else... was going to hold out for some mods but I won't be doing that until next year; hitch, roof rack and basket, mud flaps, vinyl stripe/logo on doors. Might get some new black winter rims this year if I can shift my OEM 17's, if not I'll dip them instead
  4. They're Explorer Sport rims, slightly different - they do look good!
  5. Me too, all of the above on our 13 SEL App Pack Wish we got the Ruby Red instead.... next time maybe
  6. Did you see this gallery? Dtorg29 has matte black 22's on his white limited http://www.fordedgeforum.com/gallery/album/554-2013-ford-edge-on-niche-22s/ I like the TSW Donnington and TSW Mallory's too, especially in 22's, I was planning to get those if I had got a Sport
  7. I would recommend vinyl wrapping the top chrome, that's what I did. I've seen a full plastidipped grille on a white sport and it looked cheap compared to the gloss black look (no offence Celbine, it looks better on regular models!) I am considering dipping my winter 17's and my emblems though as it can be a tough product; I dipped the chrome grille on my previous Jeep Compass and it held up well for 6 months or more, as long as you use 4/5 even layers
  8. Would like to know too, my favourite mustang rims
  9. Forgot to say, they do work as steps also, for little people - our 3 yr old uses them every day, meaning my pregnant wife doesn't have to lift him anymore!
  10. As mentioned elsewhere I have the 13 SEL app pack, when washing it I've noticed a lot of gravel rash/scratches on the rear leading edge of the plastic rocker panel (Ecoboost shaped section).... Will add pic soon The car is on about 15k Km's, we bought at 12k Km's so the damage was already there I think. Will the front mud guards help stop this and what's the best way to clean it/fix it? I don't want to have to buff all the black plastic each time I wash it like my old Ford Escort!!
  11. Here's a pic of mine with the side skirts and one of a non-Ecoboost - sits much higher. These skirts are one of the main reasons I got the Ecoboost when I couldn't get a Sport, same as vt4278 I like the lower look. Also why I've recommended adding them to 2 other App Pack owners on here....!
  12. 2014 is a carryover because the 2015 will be a redesign as mentioned in an older thread on here Edge is 8 model years old in 2014 so is due a full replacement with new chassis, drivetrain and Ford corporate facelift. 2007 was unique, 2011 improved it further - 2015 will be a world car (launching in Europe) so could a bit different I'm looking forward to see it but might aim for Explorer or Evoque next myself
  13. Ok for fun I did 2 photoshop images - the lip spoiler I mentioned and the Focus RS spoiler
  14. From the album: 2013 SEL App Pack

photoshop test of Focus RS spoiler
  15. From the album: 2013 SEL App Pack

photoshop test of Evoque lip spoiler
  16. If any additional spoiler could work then it would likely be a lip spoiler like the range rover evoque has
  17. Interested to see what your swapped them to? Still black or something else?
  18. Keep it as it is in my opinion, you got a fairly unique color and spec, don't ruin it with paint or vinyl (at least not yet!) As said above, the app pack has body color grille for a reason, to change it defeats the point Make it your own with other mods
  19. That's true, but never had a 'real' Jeep (only Patriot/Compass), my wife loves Wranglers but we have 1 boy and the 2nd due so Edge is a better bet. Our previous car here http://www.myjeepcompass.com/forums/members/bedevil79-albums-new-updates.html
  20. eBay has 3" antennas from $10-40, you can get the official BMW Mini sport antenna or a cheaper one. The OEM bumper protector was found and purchased on eBay for $10 recently by a user on here, which is a bargain as it cost me $55 on kijiji or $88 from the dealer! Thinking of the hood deflector myself, either OEM or AVS for a lower cost, and Weathertech or AVS in-channel vent shades/rain guards - CarID (amongst others) have these
  21. Congrats Jeff. I would recommend adding the ecoboost side skirts as they help balance out the truck (middle seems too high without them) then maybe black vinyl the chrome grille unless you like it as is? Stubby antenna is cool and rear bumper protector too Enjoy!
  22. Welcome aboard Drive XR7. We have a '13 2.0l Ecoboost fwd, but after having a Jeep Patriot and then a Jeep Compass I really missed the 4wd this winter, even with Yoko Geolander snow tires (mandatory in Quebec).... Also around town the fuel economy hasn't been great (13l/100km 18mpg) although highway is very good (7l/100km 33mpg) I would go for the V6 awd if you find one you like, I wanted an App Pack though so went for this one - but will go back to 4wd next time for sure
