  1. Unfortunately, it does seem to be a common tactic for the salesperson to be the voice of doom & gloom unless you, the customer, do things their way. It may have worsened in recent times, but I think the DNA is quite old. About the only time I felt "at home" was with my Saturn dealer (2x), all the way through.
  2. Bought these LEDs http://www.ebay.com/itm/2x-Newest-42mm-5W-CREE-LED-Bulbs-Car-Interior-Dome-Map-Lights-211-212-578-579-/111180255170 for the rear dome and cargo lights. Straightforward install compared to the front map lights. Tilted the switch-controlled rear dome lights forward to light more of rear seats. That part is an experiment in progress More images in gallery.
  3. Maybe someone can come up with a rail-type attachment system that a lightweight, "compressible" cargo cover would then slide into.
  4. That is a NICE pic! Here's to troublefree ownership & lots of thrills!
  5. One last attempt to be helpful: http://www.tirerack.com/tires/surveyresults/surveydisplay.jsp?type=W&VT=LT&width=245%2F&ratio=50&diameter=20&tireSearch=true&filter=y&autoMake=Ford&autoYear=2013&autoModel=Edge+Sport&autoModClar=AWD They basically have 2 tires for the 20" wheels for winter. Bridgestone seems to have the edge overall.
  6. Looks like it takes about a week to ship, so maybe you'll get it by end of week?
  7. Welcome! What color is your Edge? Sounds like you have some good & useful mods done already! Searching & asking questions are both sure to result in good help on this site
  8. Roof rails anyone? A how-to for 2011 & up Edges (thanks, Gimp!): http://www.fordedgeforum.com/topic/8592-oem-roof-rack-install/?do=findComment&comment=69299
  9. Do you have AWD/FWD? Since rain is your main concern, you should be looking for good all-season tires, then you don't have to change your wheel/tire setup any time of year, unless you like running ultra high performance summer tires at any point. Tirerack.com has a ratings guide that is fairly accurate, and that would be a good start. http://www.tirerack.com/tires/SelectTireSize.jsp?autoMake=Ford&autoModel=Edge+Sport&autoYear=2013&autoModClar=AWD Also, http://www.tirerack.com/tires/surveyresults/surveydisplay.jsp?type=CSTAS Whatever size of wheel you choose, you have to choose the appropriate tire to maintain the various aspect ratios. Tirerrack will point that out also, if you input your vehicle. If you want a tire sizing calculator, http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html is one of the popular sites used. HTH.
