Dingo you haven't seen a Queens driveway... They are small as hell and 2 buildings share them. The people who live next to my buddy has a Prius and I see a few of the same scratches on there. It is just tough. Any how, I got a call from the body shop today... They said it took them 4 hours to match the paint but it's being washed now and I'm going to be picking it up in about 45 minutes. Pictures will be posted soon!

Is warranty up?

For future reference, how do you do a master reset of MFT?

I had an iPhone5 and never had that problem with it. I changed phones recently to the Droid DNA and I had that same exact problem... I would disconnect the phone and reconnect it and it stopped happening, after the first 3 or 4 times it happened, it hasn't happened since. Very strange.

I find myself speaking to MFT like a moron sometimes as well. Phone mostly, having to say people's names weird because I know that is how MFT says/recognizes it. Speaking very, very slowly when trying to set up a GPS route.... Mine works fine 8 times out of 10 for me though so I'm really not that mad.

Edgie guy you're very lucky to have even been able to find a generator during Sandy! Lucky I've had one for 3 years that went un-used until then! haha. Anyway, I have the headrest TV option... Some people have said to me it's pointless but I have never once regretted it. My daughter loves them, but I didn't even get them for that reason. Even when I'm driving alone at night I turn them on and roll the back windows down for a little hatervision =P. Plus even us grown up kids enjoy them. When I go on road trips with my buddies they love taking my truck. We pop in Eddie Murphy Raw, Bronx Tale, Ted, etc; Constant laughs on the drive even for the driver, since I can listen clearly through the speaker system; Not an option on tablets/portables. It is costly, I think adding the option when I ordered my Edge was upward from $2,000... Could be wrong though, I got my 12' in Oct 11' so it's been a while. You could go for the portable ones which are cheap and if you have more than one car you can switch them out easily, but I would get the OEM Headrests if I were you. When you go to sell the car, it adds a little bit more value, plus they are always there and you never have to worry about forgetting/charging the portable ones. Plus it adds a little bit of meat to your car. =) I also think as far as worrying about them breaking, even though you had them installed in your car after you purchased it, Ford will still warranty them. I'd check that though, I could be wrong, but there has to be some type of extended warranty you could purchase. If you are trying to avoid the costliest of the OEM DVD's, this isn't the choice for you, but if you can swing it, I say go for it.

I was going to say all GPS' do that, but wow I didn't know the 'See America' option... Why the hell would they put that on by default? Where would I go to disable that?

Welcome to the forum. You'll find the members to be VERY helpful in not only any additions/modifications to your Edge, but also any problems you may come across. You made a great choice on your new ride and I wish ya' luck with it. =)

So... I made an accidental "modification" to my Sport So... Anyone who has been to Queens New York (Middle Village), you know the driveways are barely even armspan length.... And well... After driving 3 and a half hours from PA back to NY, I picked my car up from my buddy's house where it was parked all weekend.... Well, this is what happened.... Insurance called me and told me the total came up to almost $5,800 in damages, mostly because of the candy paint.... Insurance was told I was sideswiped while parked.... :angel: There is a few pics I didn't get... 2 dents and the side mirror got banged up a bit... This was a little over a week ago... She is in the shop and I just called and said she may be ready tomorrow. I'll post pics of the after.... My poor baby!

The sport wheels are actually 22's. I love them. I agree, smaller wheel size is a smoother ride, but I have had pretty much everyone I've driven in the car talk about how smooth of a ride ir is. I think the sport suspension that comes with the Sport really helps even out the big wheel size ride to a much smoother ride, considering how big the tires are. As far as better tire selection at a lower cost, this it true. But being able to ride on Pirelli Scorpions is pretty bad ass. I'd rather pay the extra cash so I can keep the 90% of the people I pass staring down at my rims. =P

Well I just got off the phone with my dealer and they told me everything I mentioned doing could lead to them voiding the warranty. So I think I'm just going to stick to not doing any performance-wise upgrades to anything since I'm sure if anything happens they will try their damnest to link it to what went wrong and I'd be paying out the ass. I have my Cobra to go fast, so I think I'll just play ti safe on this one.

I'm going to call my dealer and see exactly what they say. I've heard "voids warranty" so often that it gets me a little nervous that I'm going to be screwing myself out of a lot of money for a 30hp increase, ya know? I'll post here on what happens! Bob, don't mind Brock. You have go realize, he is someone who thought a tuned SHO could beat a Mustang GT lololol.

My dad owned an expeditionand he has on probably close 1000 cars in his life he was a wheeler dealer. he owns a hybrid Cadillac Escalade now and he still goes on and on about how he should have kept that expedition. I've personally felt it was very roomy but again it is all perception. I always have said even out loud to other people when I see the new explorers how gorgeous they are but the edge has that's tile that the explorer can not exactly match, especially the sports. Either way you cannot go wrong they are both amazing Vehicles. I have had countless people including myself say how surprising they are and how roomy me the edges is. from the outside it looks like it will be pretty cramped but there is a lot of space in the interior for what it is. But of course this cannot compare to something with the size of an F 150. My friend owns an F 350 Larri and that thing is the size of some apartment's I've seen its huge inside and out. But again the edges a crossover so for what it is there's a lot of room especially if you compare it toI need Nissan Morano or a Chevy traverse or other things like this.
