1. Hahahaha u think 240 a month is a lot? That's what I pay since I moved it to pa! If my insurance was in new York i would be paying over 600 a month for both cars.... This is why I do not feel bad one bit. Also as far as it being scammed now worse than before, that is very incorrect. Insurance scams on entire cars were a piece of cake back in the dag, it is actually tougher now. Plus, they didn't give me a rental car. If I didn't have a second car I would have been totally screwed. They merged my insurance with my dads policy when I signed up, since we have the same name and address. Since he didn't have rental insurance they set mine as that when they "fixed" their mistake. They didn't feel bad for screwing me over, why should I be for them?
2. <blockquote class='ipsBlockquote'data-author="Dingo" data-cid="95290" data-time="136595It won't affect your warranty.

I spoke with the dealer, they said it would... I figured that. But ford has been known for their cadillac converter going, heck it happened to my dads expedition and my moms navigator. If I put an exhaust system in, wouldn't they blame it on that if the cc goes and not want to cover it?
3. Not really... Any type if insurance nowdays is high. Health, home, auto, life. Insurance is the biggest scam going. A lot of what goes into your cost is age, years experience and location. I am 24 and live in New York with 2 cars, one of them being a sports car. I pretty much don't stand a chance. I always felt at the end of the year if nothing happens under your policy you should get a certian % back.... Which would never happen. It costs an insurance company pennies to cover you when nothing happens. I pay $240 a month for full coverage on both my cars, last year alone I paid half of what the cost was to fix my car, and I've been paying insurance for 7 years, most of that while living in New York. They have made more than enough money off me over time, they have hurt me much more than I've hurt them. Only difference is the insurance company has plennnnnty more money to take that loss, we the people do not. Moral of the story: Screw them.
4. True, but when you start looking at options and stuff like that you're looking at about another $10,000 if you're decking it out, then adding stuff you're looking at around $70,000-$80,000 anyway. But like you said, owning a Porsche or a Benz down the road is a huge pain in the ass. Any single thing that goes wrong costs so much money. So you are 110% right. Anyone can go out and buy a Porsche or a Benz or upper class cars like that, but buying them isn't the problem; Maintaining them is. Like you said, either one, they are very sick cars. But honestly, I'd take my fully loaded Edge Sport over a base model SRT Jeep. The rims, tires, TV's, MFT options, interior lighting, two tone interior etc etc for $50k. The only thing you really gain with another $10,000 is the extra 155hp. That is a lot, but I wouldn't give up everything else the Sport gives you for that extra speed. BUTTTTTTTTTT.......... Has anyone seen the NEW 2014 Grand Cherokee?! SICK! *Checks how much equity I have in my Sport* lololol
5. I always wondered if there was a way to take those off.... I just settled with keeping it and found a cool front plate lol.
6. Great find Dingo. I wonder how long it is going to last... I wish I could get the balls up to change my exhaust system.... I'm too worried about the warranty.
7. Looking good man. Did you powder the rims? They came out good.
8. That sucks man...I'm sorry that happened to you. Like what was already said, an interior upholstery shop would be best. They know how to match it and should be able to do whatever you need. I wish you lived in the New York area because I could direct you to a few great places.
9. That's the thing though, that view isn't there in person or in any other pic I've taken of it. I don't know if I might have moved the phone when I took the pic or whatever might have happened. This is a picture of the reflection of my watch in that spot and it came out perfect.-
10. I don't think saying 'fuck' is me lowering my value or responsibility as a Mod. It was in a joking manor and wasn't directed at anymore nor was it vicious or anything like that .I agree, this is (In my opinion) the best car forum out there right now, mostly because of t he helpful, encouraging and lively community, and I am doing everything I can to make it more active than it already is to make us better. Like I said it was $5,800 in damage plus I owe $1,000 in taxes. Didn't exactly have it and wasn't driving around with my car looking like that. Plus insurance companies screw all of us as it is. I had to move my insurance to PA because of it. I got a quote recently for NY insurance and to insure my two cars it is over $600 a month, that is robbery. Not to mention I have tons of friends and even family who used to do insurance jobs on cars back in the day. People used to take the caps off their cars and get $3,000 checks back in the day. Only difference is back in the day insurance companies weren't charging outrageous prices for their "services" Getting around on insurance has been being done for years upon years, I was the first and surely won't be the last to take advantage of a system that is already taking advantage of us. I don't think it is fair that you judge me based on that, especially never speaking to me or actually knowing me.
11. hey bud, haven't seen you around in a while! Thanks!
12. I'm immature because I curse every now and again and sometimes use slang? Haha okay then... Its kindof hard to point ME out when it comes go profanity on this forum. I barely even curse on here and I see people who curse almost every post they make. It wasn't done in an offensive mannor and this is 2013 so I don't even see why this is being discussed.
13. Eh, they want a lot of money for it.... I'd probably be going with the porsche truck before that if I actually had to make a choice forreal.
14. Congrats. Love those early date changes! You're going to love it. I've never been a bowtie boy myself, always a Ford guy. This truck is above and beyond probably any Ford you've ever seen. Trust me, you will never regret it.
15. Yes I am fully aware. Like I said, maybe the glare is throwing you guys off. My buddy runs a body shop n I went by his place with it yesterday and he even said it came out perfect
16. There is no orange on it at all... I don't know if you're confused by the reflection of the sun in the picture or whatever, but there is no orange what so ever on there, bud.
17. Since we all own cars (reason we are on this forum) it Is very safe to say we are all adults. Chillax.
18. Hahahaha niiiice. Looks like you belong here! FYI, we have members here who actually have their own LED business, mainly specifically for Ford Edges. Like the Daytime BrightLites advertisement you see around the forum ran by member KC300c. I have delt with him before and is very helpful, very professional and very knowledgeable. You should check everything here first before you shop around, you can often find great deals or cheaper/better ways of doing the mods you want to do.
19. How about Can't figure out this MotherFuckingThing xD Mine has been 90% perfect since I've had it, but I'm just in this one for fun lol
20. Can't believe how flawless it came out... AMAZING body shop in the Franklin Square NY area, if anyone is around there and needs body work message me for the info. Looks as good as factory. He even took care of the deducatable for me. Back on the road >=)
21. You have to change sooooooooo many things to get a supercharger to work without breaking everything around it... In hopes that it still doesn't. By the time you're done you could buy a Porsche Cyanne GTS and get about the performance that you would with the supercharger.
22. I wish they made Cherry Bomb exhaust for the Edge ... Flowmaster is really nice also
