Yeah I can find an aftermarket one nearly anywhere. What I wanted was basically the stock set up, but apparently it's not really do-able?

I have a 2011 Limited and one feature that I really wanted but couldn't find in a used Edge with the Limited trim was the push button start. I was wondering if it's an option that I can have installed (ideally using OEM parts)? Also if I can, is it possible to replace the drivers door handle replaced to allow for the touch lock/unlock functions (assuming the push button start can be installed)?

Ok, so I searched just "ipad" and nothing came up so I'll throw it out there..... I'm not sure if any of you have seen Soundman's YouTube channel, but this shop does a TON of ipad installs. I'm nearly positive that this is not going to be something I'm going to try due to the fact that I'm not the most experienced with fiberglassing, however if I can get a hold of another center console dash piece I might :p. What I'd like to do is an ipad mini in the dash and still be able to have the vehicle look as stock as possible when the ipad is out. In addition I need it to look somewhat stock (obviously there will be a lip around what would be the front of the ipad to keep in I the dash) because I still want to get access to the larger factory screen to get to things that I can not access on the smaller screens in the cluster. Have I missed any actual ipad installs in an Edge? On the channel they did a Nexus 7 install that looked pretty good but it didn't have enough of a built in look to me due to the top being exposed. It looks to me that you are right, #9 seems to be it.....as far as the dealership telling you it needs to be painted......when I had my Cougar years ago I was EXTREMELY active on the boards and knew probably more about the car than anyone at the dealership, including the service guys. There was multiple times I'd go in to order a part and they'd give me information that was wrong. I'm assuming who ever you talk to assumes that since its not the same color as your Edge (again, assuming that yours is not black) that they think it is supposed to be the same color as your vehicle.

In the event that an Admin or Moderator see this, can I make a suggestion that a How To Folder is made? I've been a very active member on a few other forums and a specified How To section is a extremely helpful source of info (usually pertaining to mods) and it really helps to have them all in one area. Also, great video

Thanks for the info guys. So with the exception of an epoxy solution that I've read on here (which I'm not extremely find of in the event that I've got to take the bumper off for any future mods) is there any other solutions that other users have done to fix it?

Hey guys, this is my first post on here and I'm sorry to bump a old thread but are you guys having the issue right where your bumper, fender and head light meet? I just bought my 2011 Edge on Thursday and didn't see the issue and then noticed it today. My Edge is a CPO, do you know if the 1 year/12,000 mile warranty to will cover them "fixing" it if I take it in? Thanks for any help guys.....
