  1. I purchased a replacement camera from E-Bay. Was able to install the camera and the image is good but no guidelines. Bought the OBDLink MX ScanTool and have the FORScan on my laptop. Was able to go in and see the camera configuration but when I try to run it I get the message saying Test aborted. Perform a self-test to identify any diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs)" I have no idea what to do going forward, any ideas?
  2. Had our ETB and motor asy replaced on 10/29/16 by a Ford dealer in Manchester NH, vehicle ran perfectly fine prior to this replacement. 3 days later the vehicle started having acceleration issues and 5 days after that the vehicle died at a set of lights. Took it to our mechanic (not Ford dealer) and they found oil in the air box. They contacted the Ford dealer that replaced the ETB and explained what they found. That dealer came and got the vehicle, they had it for 4 days and couldn't figure out what the issue was. They did say the engine was losing oil pressure and that we most likely would need a new motor. Now the vehicle is at a second Ford dealer getting a second opinion. How the hell does a vehicle that runs perfectly fine 1 day end up needing a new motor only 8 days after this recalled part gets replaced by a Ford dealer? I talked to a good friend of mine and his initial thought was, "when they replaced the ETB if they screwed up replacing the throttle body it probably sucked a bunch of antifreeze into the intake and from there it mixes with the oil and ends up ruining the bearings in the lower end of the motor." This is the most logical explanation I've had since this started and it's been with two different mechanics. Looking for opinions from anyone on this forum.

  4. UPDATE: I pulled the negative battery terminal, let the vehicle sit for 30 seconds and reconnected. This restored the Sirius radio to a working state, I reprogrammed the presets and it's working fine now.
  5. Well I have a bit of an update, I took the advice from WWWPerfA_ZNOW and pulled the negative battery terminal, I let the vehicle sit without power for 30 seconds and plugged it back in. This did resolve my Sirius Radio issue and for a moment resolved the Hazard Button issue. I kept trying the hazards on/off, on/off, on/off and wouldn't you know it? I found a hidden command which alerted me to "Train Left Front Tire". Not sure what that's all about. Anyway the hazards were finally working for about 10 minutes and now once again I cannot get them to work. W
  6. The Hazard button isn't your traditional hazard button that you push in to activate, it's more of a very touch sensitive button. You basically just put your finger on it to activate. All of the turn signals work it's just this button will not activate the 4-ways. I'll try the negative terminal idea, we are having other issues with our Sirius radio and the preset labels not filling in from time to time and now are not hearing any audio from the Sirius radio and are getting "Channel unsubscribed call.......ESN: 1234567890" Sirius states that it's an issue with my radio.
  7. We don't use the hazards often at all but if we do need to use them they don't work. We also noticed that we haven't accidentally turned them on when trying to change the radio stations as we were doing. Also we live in New Hampshire and vehicles need to be inspected and the hazards are part of the inspection check
  8. We have a 2011 Ford Edge Limited, the overly sensitive Hazard "Touch" button only works when it wants to. We initially thought maybe a fuse was blown but one day the hazard button started working again out of the blue. It worked for a time being and then stopped working. This went on for some time and then one day it started working again. The following day I tried it again, I was able to activate the 4-way hazards but then I couldn't turn them off. As I was driving to my destination I kept trying the button and finally I was able to get the hazards to shut off. We haven't only tried the button twice since then (about a month or so) and we were able to get it to turn on/off. Today we tried it and again it's no longer working. Anyone have this issue? What was the fix besides bringing the vehicle to the dealership and spending tons of money to get it fixed?
  9. We have a 2011 Ford Edge Limited with My Ford Touch (No NAV). We have an active "in good standing" subscription to Sirius Radio. Today on the way to work the Sirius was working fine as it has been since we activated it. On the way home from work later in the afternoon the radio displays "Channel Unsubscribed please call....ESN: #########". We can see all of the presets, we can see what is playing on which ever channel we choose but we are not getting any audio (Sirius only, all other sources work fine). If we choose a different source then come back to Sirius we get that dialogue box again and you can hit "Cancel" or "Call"(if there is a phone paired) I also have a subscription under the same account in my 2011 Ford Focus SES and that is working fine. Sirius tried to send a signal but was unsuccessful. They stated that they are only responsible for sending a signal and not the factory radio itself (understandable). Has anyone ran across this issue? What is the fix outside of going to the dealership and spending tons of money to get this fixed?
  10. Took our 2011 Limited to the dealership to have an issue looked into and I also brought to their attention that the gear indicator next to the shift no longer illuminates. They were able to fix my first issue and they called Ford regarding the shift indicator. Ford claims that in order to fix this issue that it is going to cost $1,000 as there are significant parts that need to be replaced and the lighting has specific sequences and it's more than just a blown bulb. Anyone at all have any experience with this issue and what it takes to fix it? Thanks
  11. The 2011 Limited has two places that indicate which gear you are in. The instrument cluster which is illuminated and on the center console next to the shift. My wife believes this was lit at one point but isn't illuminated any longer. The dealership I purchased the vehicle from called Ford today and they stated that in order to fix that so the lights illuminate again that it would cost $1,000 as it's way more work than just changing a bulb. I do find it very hard to believe and will be doing some more research.
  12. mathieurochette, Thank you for posting this, I am new to the Forum as I am new to the Ford Edge. We just traded in a 2006 Chevy Trailblazer LS with 117,000 miles for the 2011 Ford Edge Limited. I have a blown Puddle light bulb and was searching how to change the bulb when I came across this LED replacement idea. I have been searching Ebay for the 35mm Festoon LED bulbs but can only find 36mm. Do you know if all the sizes you listed will work on the 2011 Ford Edge? Would you still have the links for all of the lamps you purchased on Ebay? Any help beyond what you have already provided would be great Thanks again
