There is storage space around the spare. There are these "container bins" that you can remove. I am going to say 4 of these container bins without going out and looking at it. I will do so tomorrow. I have baby duty at the moment.

Engine shots. I find the engine to be rather small. I wish the battery was a bit more accessible. You can get it out or jump it,but it would take some effort.

Yep. I already bumped up the bass a little and treble but it still wasn't enough. Maybe I need to rip my MP3's with a boost. I am using a USB drive for music.

I don't really have any other or better indicator for 0-60. I suspect I could time it using my phone too manually. Also, I really am disliking the stereo. I mean couldn't they have put a little more power in? With the windows open it could definitely use it.

I am going to wait a few weeks to do that once I have more miles on it. I have Torque that has a 0-60 component but I have not used it yet.

I am also skeptical on the MPG. I have not been killing it and it is less than 20 MPG (15-16 is what I am currently showing). I am hoping when I do highway driving it will increase significantly.

I did not get the package with the park assist nor did I get the panoramic sunroof. I was trying to keep it under or about 40K. the paddle shifters work pretty well. I haven't had a ton of time to use them though. The "sport" mode is pretty sweet. It changes the driving dynamics noticeably. The all weather floor mats are absolute crap. I should wait until the Weathertech ones are available. They will not hold any snow at all in the winter. The interior is very quiet. In fact the doors seal almost too good. It makes it almost hard to shut the doors. You really have to put some force into it. That is one area that I would like to see improved on a later release is making the doors easier to close. No rattles at all. I sat in a 2014 in the showroom and the interior is quite a bit nicer on the 2015 models. It doesn't feel as "plasitcy". Yep. I have a few new ones, but I will post more tomorrow when it's sunny. It is a bit dull here in western NY today.

I inquired when I picked it up and it is around $675 installed since I need the security system thing and the remote start. As cool as it is, it seems rather pricey for what you get. I guess the remote start system is all plug and play but the security system needs a little more work to get in place. Either way, doesn't seem like my wife would let me spend that much anyway.

It is interesting you mentioned lag. There is a small amount. I still have my manual Xterra here until I sell it and there is a difference. I step on my Xterra and there is just power. When I hit it on the Edge, there is maybe a 1/2 second delay then it just takes off. I think the 2.0 has some twin scroll system that is supposed to combat the lag but I believe the 2.7 is a straight twin turbo. I hit it once on the expressway and I was going 90 in no time. I don't know about the break-in period specifically. I plan on keeping it for 10 year or more, so I want to make sure nothing gets damaged. The manual states 1000 miles but we'll see. The tires are Hankook Noble S1. I may get some winter tires before next season. There were about 4 additional miles added. I will wax it nicely once we get above freezing temperatures here.

I picked up my Edge tonight. It's wicked fast. You have to love the twin turbos but the lag takes some time to get used to especially coming from my manual Xterra. Once I let it break in for 1000 miles or so, I can do a 0-60 with my Torque app. I know a lot of folks complain about the MFT but so far it seems to work pretty well. I loaded up a 32 GB USB drive with a hundred or so discs and indexed them in no time. Any questions? Anyone want specific pictures?

I am picking my car up tonight around 5. I was trolling around and see they offer a remote access option (link.) The dealer said I would need a security system also installed. I did not order the package with remote start for my sport however, it does have some sot of security installed. It doesn't say anything on the site about needing the security system installed. I assume this is what he meant, link.) Are these parts plug and play or do I need the dealer to do the installation? I understand that there is a yearly fee for remote access. He said the remote access is $375 and the security option is $347.Seems expensive. I tried to find some information on the forum but lucked out. Anyone have information maybe from a previous generation?

I think it had 21-ish miles on it. A bit more than I would have thought when I drove it. I was told no one would drive it since it is in the "sold" area. I asked how much total the dealer was making and he said $980 (not sure if it includes the $75 doc fee) profit. This of course doesn't count any other incentives for selling a certain number of vehicles and so forth.

I will pick it up on Monday. I wanted it sooner, but my salesman is out this weekend.

Yes, it does telescope and move up and down manually. It is nice because I am 6'4" and needed the seat further back so I can move the steering wheel a little closer. Once I get the vehicle on Monday, I will post more pictures and maybe a video.

I really hate the doc fee. This is the first car I purchased new that I am actually paying it. When I bought my '05 Xterra, they tried to charge it to me and I walked out the door. They chased me down and agreed to remove it. Just pure profit for the dealer. EDIT: I will pick it up Monday. I found a local credit union for 0.99% financing for 3 years so I grabbed that. The best the dealer could do was 1.44%. It pays to call around for sure.

Here is a snippet of exactly what I am paying.

Van Bortel Ford in Rochester, NY. I will post the final cost when I have it. They gave me $1550 under invoice which includes the $500 rebate. The $1550 includes $300 below invoice, a $750 competitive vehicle dealer rebate (for my Xterra) and the $500 rebate. I'll post more pictures in a few days.

I was able to stop by and take a look at the Edge I am getting. I am just figuring out the financing stuff, but I should have it in my driveway on Thursday. Sorry for the crappy pics. I had only a little time. The Electric Spice color is definitely more orange than yellow which is nice. There were a at least 4 people that stopped when we were looking at it that asked if it was the new model. All I can do is compare it to my '05 Xterra. Definitely different types of vehicles but the Edge is quieter, bigger and much faster. It seems so wide in comparison. I loved driving it.

Just got a picture that my new Edge is in! Going to try and pick it up soon. I live pretty close to Ontario so, I figured it would be rather quick delivery.

Not yet. I am hoping for news this week.

I was told that my Edge has been released to a trucking company for delivery. I'm getting excited. I filled out the brochure form last week. Not sure how long it will take to possible get a coupon or packet.
