  1. I've never had an injector or O2 sensor fail running seafoam. I even buy the spray can and flood the engine with it once a year and never had an issue. Ill stick with what I know there. As far as coolant I don't mind conventional but the Evans makes a good product imo and it cools duramax, 6.5, and 6.0 GM engines very well and for alot of miles.
  2. I run Evans in 2 other vehicles. It's oil based coolant and lubricates the water pump actually. I really don't think it would cause damage, you also don't run any coolant pressure with this fluid so it won't cause leaks due to pressure.
  3. The deer didn't scratch the car, it caved in the fender and both driver side doors. The scratch is new in the past 3 months. Since I told the wife the goal on the car is 500k miles she said it better not look like it has 500k on it, so happy wife happy life, it must look good
  4. I've done the turkey baster changes yearly on the power steering and brake fluid. I have a thermostat for the edge. It's on the pre 200k list once I get a chance. Anyone ever run Evans waterless coolant in these? I run seafoam fuel treatmemt in my gas every oil change. I've done this in every car/truck I've ever owned.
  5. Just spent the past 2 weeks reading your OC thread and this one. My head hurts... haha
  6. If that's what you want to call going from 80 mph to 0 in the blink of and eye for giggles haha
  7. For the record I did: Plugs Trans service Raybestos Premium pads on all 4 corners (lubed pins) Timken rear wheel bearings KYB struts KYB shocks Mobile 1 5w20 w/ wix xp Wix air filter 2 new cooper SRX tires (this makes 10 tires total being mounted on this econo beast) Old pads still had nearly 25% left. The new rear pads groan worse than the oem. Next on the to do list is clear coat peeling on the hood, front driver side fender has a 18" scratch (and it's new due to deer damage), front Ford emblem is fading, and a cab air filter (I just watched Mac's video on it)
  8. Yesterday we ended up on a 80 mile long beginner jeep trail by accident. Cinnamon took it like a champ, we got some funny looks though haha.
  9. It's done and we made it to Ouray. Got 24.6 mpg cruising 80. Been awhile since to drove without humming tires and did better than 22mpg.
  10. Plugs are on the list but not before vacation on the 10th unless we get time. I did all fluids at 100k when we bought it from my mom. Amsoil tans and fresh coolant. I had to give up my shop last year so I don't have a place to work and my wife needs it done quick as we only have 2 vehicles on the road at the moment. I'll look into the Ford credit that would be nice prevacation
  11. Ours has 17's. Our rotors aren't warped and the Ford dealer has a special on lifetime brakes through them so I will likely just do that. I will end up ordering rear wheel bearings and have them put in since we are nearing the 200k mark. I don't have time to do the work unfortunately so I have to take it in.
  12. Doesn't navigate on my phone and I was wanting to get my order in before I got home. Just got home so I'll figure it out. Thanks anyways.
  13. Anybody have a part number for the KYB strut and motorcraft strut mounts? This is on a 2010 Edge. Also need part numbers on the rear for shocks/struts.
