Thanks for your VIN, cv27. Please explain 'build date' to me--is it production beginning or ending date or delivery date to dealer?

Here's an update on my 2015 AWD Titanium Edge from Tricia at FordService. Status is "in order processing" with an ETA of 5/10/15 to my dealer. I'm sure this would be the earliest I would see it and I haven't heard from my dealer lately. So I have VIN number in the ...34000s, but no window sticker yet.

Can you tell me the end of your VIN? Mine is about 34000. I know they aren't delivered exactly in VIN sequence, but I'm still curious. All I have so far is the VIN, no built date yet or window sticker.

Has anyone on this post ordered their new 2015 Ford Edge yet? I have.

I received the VIN for my new 2015 Edge on March 19th, 2015. They said the order has arrived at the plant. But no build date yet. I know there are other VINs already assigned a while ago, but not aware of any deliveries yet. Bronze Fire is the color I went with. Hope it isn't too orange. I have Ruby Red now. Can't go wrong with red, but I felt like a change, there are so many red Edges on the road right now. Also, AWD with V6, same as my 2008. The Edge has been my first vehicle that I knew I would get another one without even considering another other vehicle. I think that speaks volumes for this Make/Model. Buying sight-unseen is a bit nerve racking, so thanks for all the feedback! Mine is being built in Canada, so may those of you in Canada will receive yours first?
