  1. I reported this last week, guess what ? Dealership says its normal. Laughable. I have never had this kinfpd of interior splashing/sloshing sound from a gas tank.
  2. I should add....the white triangle LED things are ALWAYS ON. Thanks
  3. I believe that my Canadian edge has the goofy LED triangle markers as DRL's. As such, I believe that I will not need the CANBUS harness from Morimoto. I am right here ? Thank you.
  4. So I was on the hunt for some quality replacement wipers........argh...not even Bosch has this new push clip design that we have. RainX do not fit....tried that. Has anyone hanged the crappy OEM ones successfully ? Thanks,
  5. Ok, So I had a very leaky Edge. It has has been in twice for repair. At this point they MAY have fixed it. But I still have this sloshing sound........I think water is trapped somewhere, but where ? I will do the obvious and run the fuel tank to empty to rule out the loudest fuel tank I have ever heard.
  6. Mine is back from the dealer. Carpets replaced Front passenger and rear only. Not Drivers, hmmmmmm Seems to be an okay job. Now to see if it is sealed !
  7. Carpets are definitely NOT dry. They put my winter mats back in and that has trapped the moisture.......it is starting to smell. Awaiting new carpets, back ordered. If this is a long wait I will take it back and they can have it till they fix it. I won't drive in a Petri dish.
  8. So Mine is back from the second visit on this issue. They said the wetness is residual from the first sealing and fix attempt........okay. They say the car now has no leaks.......new carpets are ordered....but backordered. Guess I have to wait now.
  9. This is really bad, we also have to many threads on this now as well. Anyhow , mine went in for this. My water leaks seem to be front and rear. They called in Leakpro. Report says they resealed Fender seals. A-pillar, etc, etc. Guess what after 2 car washes the carpets are damp again. Unbelievable !!!!! Anyone have details on the dash removal TSB ? This is a new one for me. Thx
  10. For sure check that ! Mine still at dealer for this problem.
  11. Wing, I sent you a picture. What I don't get is , if this in fact how the water is entering the cabin......how does it get to the carpet in the rear?
  12. Wing nut, thank you for posting that very helpful picture. I just checked mine......it does not look like yours. Mine is like swollen rubber or something. Not flush like yours. Yours looks tack welded almost. I have a picture...... But can't figure out how to post it. LOL
  13. Can anyone describe where this seal is to check it ? Water has made it to the rear carpets now as well. Anyone have access to a site that hosts the TSB's ? Thanks
  14. I guess could be.....but the troubleshooting guide says if customer reports "sloshing" check for water, and do the seal fix,
  15. So there is something official at Ford now regarding this problem. I also did notice a "sloshing" sound when driving....seems this would be the water built up somewhere....on it s way to the carpets. Where can we find the official TSB and action items to repair ? Seal , sloshing, drivers pillar.
  16. So I just got back in the Edge. It has been parked for 3 days, covered, so no chance of rain. The passenger side, front and rear footwell carpets are wet. The underside of the rubber OEM mat in the rear has droplets on it.The car has an odour......not pleasant. I have no kids, no chance of a spill. Thinking about it now........I have not drive in rain in a while....but I have had car washes. This IMO is from car washes or, something else. Why only the passenger side wet now now ? Totally weird. I have about 1800Km on the Edge. Could there be an underside opening and the car wash jets are getting in ? This an SE by the way. Not a sport.
  17. Unbelievable !! I cannot believe I found this thread. I took delivery of a 2015 edge about 6 weeks ago. On the weekend I decided to vacuum a bit. I removed the passenger mat and its was REALLY wet under there .....could not figure out why. I then took out the drivers side.....and has that white dried carpet appearance . I have this problem for sure. I willl be calling the dealer first thing. I really do not want to be in a car 3 years that is full of road grime , salt etc at new. Has anyone seen a formal recall on this ? Thank you
