  3. I am waiting on my 3rd replacement. Pretty sad they can't make a sealed tail light. Will keep you posted on #3.
  4. http://www.ddmtuning.com/Products/UltraCanbusHID This is all you need. Great value and quality. Have been running mine for over 4 months with no issues. Highly recommend. I went with the 5500k bulbs.
  5. I am waiting for my 3rd tailight to be replaced due to moisture. Make sure they order the correct tailight because they are different for the Sport. Come on Ford, can't you make a sealed tailight for goodness sakes. Pretty sad!!

  7. Anyone replace their 9005 halogen bulb with an LED. I know some have successfully changed the H15 (HID equipped Sport) with an LED. Looking for a white light, not factory yellow. Would these work?

  9. I guess I just cleared up the confusion. Need to return H15's. Should have pulled out the bulbs to confirm compatibility. They do make the same bulb in 9005 style. Any others make this mod with the 9005 bulb?
  10. What am I missing here. Have a non HID equipped Sport and went to install new DRL bulbs from the OP and they are not compatible. They are 9005 bulbs, not H15's.
  11. Halogen projector low beam. Separate reflector bulb for DRL and high beam.
  12. Don't think it is an issue. I compared light cut off on my garage door before and after. They look like they are exactly the same. Bulb position did not change. No one flashing their brights at me. Just much better lighting over halogens.
  13. Thanks all. Should be fine. Thanks for the suggestions.
  14. Really enjoying the car, sport mode, new HID's, new tint all the way around, then some young girl hits me while stopped at a traffic light. Really bummed but, she was OK and I am OK. The Edge not so much. So much for the new car honeymoon.
  15. I was commenting on the bulb k value. I have read people saying 6000k were too blue.
  16. Only low beams. High beams are a separate bulb. Don't need brights now that I have the HID's.
  17. I just did an HID conversion with 5500k bulbs in my Edge and seem to have just the right amount of blue and brightness. I have heard the 6000k are too blue and you start to lose some of the brightness.
  18. Yup, some serious torque steer. 2 hands on the wheel. I have had an Audi S4 Awd and M3 and have never experienced such a hard pull to the right under heavy acceleration. Guess I need AWD!
  19. As promised I have finally completed installation of my new DDM Tuning HID conversion. What a huge difference it has made over the pathetic stock halogens. ZERO PROMBLEMS!! Ordered the complete kit from DDM Tuning who happens to be located in San Diego. They said to go with their new Ultra Canbus HID Kit. http://www.ddmtuning.com/Products/UltraCanbusHID. I went with the 5500k bulbs and they work amazing. They do have a slight hue of blue and are very bright. They fire up immediately with no apparent warm up. More in line with the new lighting systems on BMW, Audi and Mercedes. The cost was very reasonable at $119.95. Had the shop next door do a custom install for $120. A lot of improvement for the money. And best of all LIFETIME WARRANTY ON BULBS AND BALLASTS!! Can't beat that.
