Mine was ordered in mid July and picked up the first week of September so not sure why there's still such a delay on the '15s. However, i do agree that there is no way anyone will get the same deal on the '16s today. With the Employee pricing promo and a bit of haggling, my '15 Sport was priced almost $7000 CAD less than the MSRP of a similarly priced '16 Sport today.

I got a squeaking noise coming from insude the headliner driver side near the door. Sounds like two pieces of plastic or hard rubber rubbing each other. Dealer found nothing, of course. No biggie, just annoying when the music's off. Also the Vista glass in the rear makes a creak or snapping sound whenever the body flexes (i drive up and down ramps alot since i live in a condo with 3 levels of underground parking i need to drive down/up. If it weren't for these annoyances, the car would have been perfect ... so far.

I agree. I ordered the Sport in that colour based on the brochure, pics online and my sales lady's recommendation. However, a couple of weeks after ordering, I saw a bronze fire SEL on the lot which I didn't warm up to. I guess, to my eyes, the chrome accents and grille of the SEL didn't mesh well to the body colour. Glad it looks much better with the contrasting black of the Sport trim. It's exactly a week old now. Except for the mysterious ticking noise from the driver-side door panel that I can't quite locate and the well-known noises coming from the vista roof, It's been an enjoyable transition coming from a 2013 Mustang GT/CS (I needed the change to a taller vehicle due to my recurring back issues).

Production reduction? Wondering if that's why my build date hasn't shown up on ETIS yet (still shows 30.11.00002) yet my window sticker was generated back on August 6th. Dealer still says no change to the delivery ETA of August 25th (tomorrow). I guess I'll find out how accurate their information is tomorrow.

My point is that there doesn't seem to be a hold as Edges built in late July and early August were still being delivered to the dealership as of last week.

Not sure how accurate the news of the "hold" is. My dealer hasn't heard of such a thing and they received an Edge Sport this past week with a build date of August 5th. My Sport is supposed to have been built this week with a delivery date of next week.

Ordered a Bronze Fire Sport early July and is due for delivery some time next week. Haven't seen a Sport in that colour in person but did see an SEL and was neutral on it. Tried to envision how it would look with a dark grille, dark rims and less dark grey body panels. Sales lady convinced me into deciding on that colour as she said it looked striking when she saw it in Sport trim at a Ford presentation. I guess I'll hopefully find out next week.
