  3. I found a link for you but it looks like it will cost you $10.00. http://www.alignmentspecs.com/aspfiles/online.asp not much info about the Edge yet. ab
  4. Is your Edge an All Wheel Drive? That would explain the difference in power. The hood should be nice and warm after driving 20 miles. BUT not if it was cool and you just moved it a few feet, sounds like an electrical problem. Have you looked under the hood? I wouldn't wait till next Monday to take it in but if you do you might want to carry a Class C fire extinguisher. ab
  5. Very good. Our trade in (BMW X3) had this feature, caused lots of problems. When people would leave things plugged into the power port and NOT turn the radar detector, Ipod, etc. off The X3 wouldn't go to sleep = lots of dead batteries. ab
  6. Do they really stay on 10 minutes, seems a little long I would think a min or so would be plenty?? ab
  7. Quality Control is why we stopped buying GM (6). However that was in 1997 maybe they have improved . Our last GM was a Cadillac Catera. Center stack replaced week 2 Sun roof replaced week 6 New tires/alignment month 6 Right rear window no up/down month 11 Trunk no close month 13 New tires/alignment month 18 More, but I'm running out of room and the list is almost as long for an S10 before that. On a happier note :D 98 Ranger 1 visit, recalled to lube wipers and replace the Firestones 05 F250 1 fix, the blue oval was fading 08 MKX 0 so far BUT FORD DOES seem to cut a few corners. Exploding Pinto's Exploding Crown Vick's, you would think they would have remembered the Pinto  Firestones ab
  8. PCM probably stands for "Powertrain Control Module" also call ECU and about a dozen other acronyms. It's the computer that controls almost everthing on your Edge and like all computers it's very programable. :shades: Which one are you *kiddddding* about, the *gasp* or the flashing? ab
  9. QUOTE (Always_smile1st @ Mar 27 2008, 07:21 PM) I have a 2007 Sel Edge FWD that also rolls back. When I ask the dealership about it they tell me it's normal. I don’t believe that. My 2003 accord never rolled back. The edge will roll back when I just park it in the garage and on a hill. The last thing I need is to role back into someone. This does not sound normal to me. I’m scared one day after parking the edge in my garage when I wake up the next morning the car will be in the middle of the street. Now when I go to the dealership I want it all in writing your not going to tell me it just normal. I'm new here ssoo You are kidding aren't you. You REALLY don't want to "park" ANY vehicle in neutral! ab

    Oil Prices

Anybody wonder how much gas we could save if your local DOT would coordinate just ONE RED light. I really get a kick out of sitting at red lights with a dozen other people watching the MPG meter drop while NOBODY is moving! OH and another thing don't go blaming the Arabs for this one, THEY ARE NOT setting the price. The speculators in New York City are setting the price. But good news this BUBBLE will bust just like tech, housing and credit. ab
  11. I'm not sure the second one is a ride but it's a sleeper. ab
  12. We'll give it a try when the MKX gets here. But I'm sure we won't listen to it and will drop it. Sweetums informed me real quick that this is her ride and THX was NOT an option, it's a standard feature. ab
  13. Your installer will tell you what the legal limit is, if there is a limit in CA. Ours is 35% in TX. ab
  14. This is a perfect example of why I STOPPED buying GM. After much research it was determined that my S10 Blazer had the whole right side repaired/repainted due to damage during shipment. Cost them at least one job (I saw his empty office) and the salesman almost admitted, after 4 trips to the body shop it would have been cheaper for them to junk the S10 instead of trying to pass it off as a NEW vehicle! ab
  15. Greetings We've been looking at MKX's for a year, wanted to wait for the 2nd year of production. So now that we've finally decided :beerchug: what color, options etc. All of them are either maxed out or strippers. Here's the gripe: We found one lightly loaded and the right color IT GOT HIT BY A HAIL STORM a few days ago . The dealer says he'll fix "like new" and give us a "really good deal". Your thoughts and opinions would be appreciated. Thanks ablb
