  1. Your best bet is to contact the local customer services manager in your area for Ford. I dont mean a dealership. I received outstanding assistance from the one in my area for the issues I had to take mine in for (Toronto).
  2. It has 13k kms on at atm. I usually start to drive it when the rpms stabilize to the lowest point while idling which is about 100 rpms. The oil has already been changed and I used full synthetic on it. I have had and driven many vehicles in the past bit never experienced this kind of issue..
  3. As the cold weather is upon us in Toronto. I have noticed an issue with the shifting of gears on my Titanium 2.0 after it has been parked outside in cool/cold temperatures. When I start my car, I usually let it run for 2-5 minutes. When I start to drive it, accelerating normally, the gear shift between the second gear to the third gear lags, causing the rpm to go as high as 3500 before shifting to third with a slight jerky motion. After stopping at 2-3 lights, it transitions to a smooth shift again. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced the same issue or anything similar.
  4. TSB 15-0166 has been issued for this problem. I have an appointment today for this issue on my titanium. Dealership had earlier said seats were cooling "as they were designed to" prior to the service bulletin. Lol. I guess they come up with whatever bs explanation they can think of if they can't figure out the solution...
  5. Anyone purchase the extended warranty from Ford? Is it worth it? I was offered it on my 2015 Edge Titanium , however I declined at time of purchase but was informed I can purchase within 1 year if vehicle under 20,000 km. Whats is a decent price for premium care if someone decided to purchase it? I know each dealership quotes different prices...
  6. Unfortunately he did not. They had sent it back to the dealership already.
  7. 27sport, I am unable to find any information on the Internet for this. Do you have any links?
  8. I had the same rattle. Took my titanium in for the leak recall and also informed them of the rattle which sounded to me as if coming from the rear driver side area inside the vehicle . Tech told mewhen I went to pick up that the rattle was not from inside of vehicle but under. He said he tightened a few things that appeared loose under the car which seem to have fixed it. So far the rattle appears to have gone.
  9. Thanks guys. Thats what I thought. Ill probably be changing it every 10k km anyhow with full synthetic.
  10. I got my Edge Titanium back today. The explanation I was given for the seat back not functioning as it should " the seat bottom is where the air is coming from and thus the seat bottom will be colder than the seat back, to be exact an approximate 8' c as per the tech... Not sure where he was getting that from.. My seats start cooling on the seat back, however after 2-3 minutes of sitting, the cold air is no longer there. I told them I would test it out again and would be bringing it back if it continues to act up. He wasn't aware of or has had this issue to him before..
  11. I took mine in yesterday for the recall. Received a rental courtesy of Fords regional manager in the GTA, Ontario to have my edge titanium inspected for leaks. I personally never noticed/checked for any leaks as vehicle is always kept underground and has only gone through 2 car washes thus far. I was told no leak was located however the " fix" was applied.. Kind of odd to apply a fix to a vehicle that doesn't have an issue.. So when I went to return my rental to Enterprise, the employee who was driving me to the ford dealership told me they just had an edge shipped to them today and when they sat inside, the entire floor was soaking wet. I couldn't help but just laugh. What a mess ford made with a simple manufacturing mishap!!
  12. Just wanted to know at what mileage everybody is changing their oil/filter in their Edge. I just had an oil change done (full synthetic) and the dealership put my next visit in 8,000 km or 5 months. Correct me if I am wrong, from what I got from the owners manual, oil changes are done when the vehicle reaches up to 16,000 km driven. Shouldnt the dealership be following the vehicles owner's manual or at least close to it?, or do they just estimate based on other criteria
