  1. i installed H&R springs no camber kit is necessary..had allignment done for $90 and everything came into oem specs. H&R designed these springs to allow a great progressive ride . doesnt damage anything on the vehicle and allows for proper allignment..for the guy who says you ruined your edge...its not like he put bags on. absolutely nothing wrong w installing H&R springs. they were designed correctly and tested. your only lowering 1.75 inches. and imo makes the edge look much sportier.

  2. Yes it is fwd.. If I had AWD I would have blown that thing apart the first shift. It is holding up well so far. I don't spray it very often. Only when I need to show my ass to some challenger or Camaro or whatever. I know it is shortening the life of the trans but I am prepared to replace if need be.

  3. Thanks for the info guys. I think it'll look better lowered too. I'll post pictures when it's done!!

lower it if you want!! define your own ride! i lowered mine have a steeda rear sway bar moog end links..front strut tower brace and nitto 555 street slicks..i have a list of mods and while others call thier edge a family car or whatever they use it for..thats fantastic.. my edge has 365 whp and 375 wtq and i define it how ever i like..if your asking how the ride is w h&r springs..the ride stays great you will still be able to allign w in oem specs and handling will improve..do what makes you happy!!

  4. I purchased the last bar Steeda had about 10 months ago. I am not familiar with the other bar. If you join Ford Edge world wide on face book there is a member that has purchased aftermarket bushings for his edge. I'm not sure if he is in the forum here. I'm sure he is but I don't know his name on here. I'll connect u with him in the group on fb though.

  5. I will add that the tuner does not decrease fuel mileage. It should actually stay consistent or even improve some. The tuner adjusts shift pressures and speeds. I have a wideband o2 sensor and gauge so I do have air fuel ratio adjustments made in my tune but the factory setup does not allow readings to know where you are in a precise measurement for air fuel ratio. So if your looking for the most effective mod it's going to be a tuner. Unleashedtuning.com Torrie will provide the best customer service imo to help you maximize your edges potential. And if you have a 15 or newer sport then your hp gain will be extremely worth the money

  6. If your looking to add performance and worried about gas mileage then your only option is a tuner. I run 91 octane as 93 is hard to come by. I have literally every mod you can think of on my edge aside from changing displacement or ignition. I installed nitrous as well (running 100 shot ) on a single nozzle efi system. I have a cai but mine is modyfied to actually draw cold air , not air from the engine compartment. I honestly think everyone is entitled to his/her opinion on any mod. Just depends on what you expect from it. I personally believe and is my personal experience that the cai set up I have created a small flat spot at mid throttle but at wot when the bottle is spraying I have much better flow of air and at a colder temp than the factory set up. But again, I'm not looking at fuel as I only drive my edge in town and the occasional trip up north. But I have the ability to return my vehicle to stock, turn off the sprint booster and shut the nitrous off.

  7. It is doing it again... No matter what once I put it in drive and ghetto certain mph the light comes on and won't turn off. Once I cycle ignition I have control of the light as long as I'm in park or not moving. But even when light is on constantly I can still engage /dis engage traction control but the light stays illuminated no matter the setting

  8. Ok, I apologize. Idk about the mpg change. I know that it is a very noticable change in throttle response. Since putting nitrous and other mods on my edge I haven't really been accounting for fuel mileage. I never really drive my edge other than in town short trips.

  9. Having an issue with traction control disabled light coming on all the time even if it is enabled. I can engage, disengage once vehicle is started but on ignition cycle the light comes on as if it is disengaged, when it actually is engaged. Anyone else have this issue? 2010 limited 3.5 fwd

  10. Monster's awakening! Looking forward to feedback from the datalogs.

It's pretty dialed in for the first jetting setup. I'm seeing 11.8 on the wideband which is nice and safe. 0-60 went from 8 to 6 which is absolutely impressive. If I can get into a 5 sec 0-60 I will be extremely happy. I'm scrptical about 100 shot though. I don't know that the motor is my concern so much as the 4-5 shift at 6000 rpm. Around 75 mph. I think that is where something could break. Just taking slow. I can send you a log file if you like. Just open with live link .there are a couple pids not giving data now that we're before and I can't figure out why.. Knock retard index for some reason won't work.
