  1. I too had big reserves about the 4 banger. Damn, every day I am AMAZED at that little beauty on my 2016 Titanium. It moves right along and has a nice sound. A 6 is no longer necessary for me!
  2. There is just no excuse for this Ford! You used to own Volvo, where the seats are WAY better!
  3. I have a 2016 Titanium. The seats are the worst I have ever sat in. A class action suit is in order here. That metal bar, the flat bolsters, the narrow width, the too high sides and truly crap ass "leather" combine to make a seat that is a true EPIC FAIL in every possible way. The cooling never worked at all. I cannot speak to the heat because I had to buy a $2000 cushion just to be able to use the car. I like so much about this car but the seat is the reason I will not keep it. THESE SEATS SUCK HARD!
  4. Beautiful ride! I would love to try those seats as the Titanium I have has seats made by the devil. I THINK the gas cap locks when you lock the car. I love that feature!
  5. You sir, are absolutely correct. I have this same issue and it has made me insane. These are seats from hell. I had to buy a 200 cushion just to be able to drive the car. Way less than ideal as it raises me too high. Good tip about the heat. I tend to use that less than usual due to I could never feel it under the cushion. These seats are shamefully designed. The cooling sucks had and does not work even a little bit. I had my little 89 pound niece sit on these and even she noticed that damn bar. I had a six 5 skinny friend sit in them and same thing. I am basically average. I really got to get to an upholsterer but with about 6 months to go on the lease, kind of too late. I wish I had gotten the SEL. Not great seats, but way better. BUt some features of the T were must have for me. I would have liked to seen a class action suit over these seats. Next week, I open up and tell how I really feel!
  6. I got the software/clock spring replacement fix. There have been no issues that I know of since the fix. It appears to be OK. But I got this just on the cusp when the standard fix became a wheel replacement. I am a bit nervous that Maybe I should have gotten that fix. If it had been another week or two I would have had the knowledge of it (new wheel) being a default fix and would have insisted upon it. I wish everyone well who has had this issue. If anyone else got the clock spring repair and is having any further issues, I would be most grateful to hear from you.
  7. Roger that. Thanks for the clarity. I get it. It is a Takata thing, not a Ford thing. I now hate Takata 18 times more than I did before
  8. We think precisely alike. I hate everything about that company. Because of them, I will most likely not be buying another Ford. Sucks.
  9. Super good tip. Thanks. I am going to check my paperwork.
  10. Excellent! May you have smooth and safe driving from now on
  11. Excellent! So now all works, even the "adaptive" part?
  12. Yup. Precisely. I did not even want that poorly designed and implemented POS in my car. Being an optimist, I look at it as the first step to a proper redesign of that entire panel.
  13. This sounds good. I would love to have my heated wheel on by default
