  1. It happens a bit over there, they seem to get too big for their alloted bandwith. In the past, it is usually a very temporary interruption. Should be fine soon, have no fear!
  2. It's below zero here for a stretch and she`s burning again. I will call dealer tomorrow and post work order. Maybe it`s time they replace my PTU...
  3. Fuse #35 (10). Rear Park Assist/AWD/Heated Seat Module (or similar name). Works as needed. Hot when car is on, off with no time delay. Good Luck! I have on '07 fwiw.
  4. I had the same issue when I installed my backup cam. I was able to hunt one down. It is late and cold here but if I don't reply tomorrow, nudge me with a pm. I will sort it for you.
  5. Nice, less than $40 for my domain. Looks a lot better than vinyl letters too...
  6. This thread reminded me of another thread this summer. I was too lazy to rewrite it so here ya go... These tent trailers have come a long way. Heat/AC, Stove, 2 way refrigerator, plenty of storage, Electrical Outlets, Lights, screen room and more. I got this one when it was One year old for $3,300.
  7. I am bringing mine in tomorrow for a looksee/quick checkup...
  8. Seriously Lex, are you gonna buy one or not? My GAWD you been here for like three weeks. Sorry if I am out of line but I am sure I am not the only one who wishes you would either buy one or leave us alone......
  9. You should indeed have an owner's manual. Keep on your dealer's case until you get one. In the meantime, you can at least download last years OM here, it should help answer many questions of course there are new items on the '08's. http://www.fordedgeforum.com/index.php?sho...l=owners+manual
  10. Don't get too excited, it's a little cubby around your spare tire, just lift up the false floor and marvel at it's utility! If you are lucky you can store an umbrella or a first aid kit....
  11. Don't know how the process works but GOOD ON FORD. Glad to see they are making things right, if that's the case.
  12. Sound Dampening? Let us know please, I am curious as well....
  13. Dude, Sorry if I came off grumpy, it was Monday morning and no, I wasn't happy my truck is in the shop. I just get upset with all the juvenile postings on this board from time to time (and no, I know it hasn't been you). I posted what I thought would be relevant to others and even insightful and you happened to be the one to set me off. Nothing personal, and again, I apologize. I was frustrated because I have been a long term member, and I thought for some reason you were implying I was trolling. As for my truck, they said it is nothing critical, just a leaking O-ring on the transmission. I am no expert but that doesn't sound too great to me? hehe Anyhow, they need to order the part but they are giving me the truck back to drive so should be non-critical, let's hope. Anyone with some advice? Should it be ok to drive? Regardless of what they say, I plan on keeping this Edge for a while. Any risk of long term damage?
  14. Well, good for you. I guess I made it all up because I have an underliyng drive for Ford to die. You are probably right. I guess every day for the past 10 months, I have been driving a Murano but in all my delusions I actually only THOUGHT it was an Edge. Anyone who may be curious about the resolution is free to pm me, I would hate to clutter the forum with my drivel, since until now it has been nothing but solid posts and good feedback forum wide. Forgive me for being the impetus of this forums demise...
  15. I have just under 15 turns on my edge, recently noticed a pungent, burnt rubber smell after I get her warmed up, say 10 minutes on the highway with even a hint of antifreeze or sweetness. Wife said she thought it was even smoking last night when she pulled it into the garage, but that could easily be mistaken since it has been fairly cold here. Anyhow got a service appointment, scheduled for drop off tomorrow. I checked the oil, no sign of antifreeze there, no obvious leaks or puddles under the truck, not in the garage or on fresh snow. Resevoir is fine as well. I suppose it is possible whatever is leaking is dripping onto the manifold and burning off? Anyhow, anyone experienced something similar? Just wondering what to expect early next week. I will of course keep you all posted. No it's isn't red, thank heavens...
  16. Sounds like fun! Yes pic's would be appreciated, that is a new color (to me anyhow...).
  17. I am not sure what brand, it was the cheepy from Wal-mart. Under $100. Size of the case, not sure? What type of screen are you thinking about? If you tell me the dimensions (I assume you are concerned about width), I can take a quick peek at mine, tomorrow... I am still a fan of this screen placement BUT I would not recommend the cheap kit form Wal-mart in retrospect. Water seems to collect on the inside of the camera lens, kind of lame. Not so lame I will take the time OR money to replace it, just kind of lame.
  18. I do not have a problem with mine in Minnesota but I have heard (father-in-law lives in Kenai, AK) that satellite signals get all messed up, the farther north you are.
  19. Oh wow, not even delivered yet? Congrats. As a father of two little ones, I know car seats can be nervewracking. I can't take much credit for looking up someone else's thread but glad it helped. The last thing you two need to worry about right now is installing car seats. Looking back on the children's births, I am glad to see it is you going through this and not me!
  20. Try this link. He doesn't reference the middle headrest and his is an '07 but a good place to start. Hope this helps!
  21. Look, I am not saying there is an abnormal amount of backing up with a trailer, I am saying you don't realize HOW MUCH you actually drive in reverse normally. Put a piece of tape on your reverse sensor and deal with it for a week. Be sure to turn off the alarm EVERY time you drive, then tell me you wouldn't want a way to disable it for a week or so at a time. No phucking wonder people don't ask questions here or suggest ideas. A couple of wiseguys always gotta show up.
  22. You don't realize how much you do drive backwards until you are towing a trailer. It is nerve racking enough pulling into a site late at night, trying to back the rig in with all that GOD forsaken noise.
  23. It's possible I am confusing these two but the only way I have ever turned it off is to go through the setup menu...... It lasts the entire journey until I turn off the vehicle. I would like to turn it off for weeks at a time, if possible. I will doublecheck the instructions above but I am fairly confident that is what I have tried in the past.
