  1. I haven't seen an in-car nav system yet whose maps were not well out of date the day they were released. In my experience a Garmin with lifetime maps is a better investment. If you want the most up-to-date maps and POIs, it's time to start using google maps. On our '16 we've done the Android Auto update, and it's wonderful.
  2. Back when I owned a Cadillac XLR, I purchased a protection plan from Costco, which was reselling the premium plan from Century Warranty. Several would-have-been-expensive repairs were done over the next few years. My dealer said they were easy to work with, unlike some other companies.
  3. there are instructions here. http://seatguru.wixsite.com/fordseatfix/tsb-installed
  4. Only you can decide. Forscan-compatible usb-connection hardware is available at relatively low cost on ebay. Forscan is free at the current time. Google and read. Up to the point where you actually want to make a change you can't hurt anything. Just understand that some of the instructions are not super-handholdingly clear. If you can get through the opening sequence of Hitchhiker's (http://textadventures.co.uk/games/view/3cbedqimquselmanehhzxg/the-hitchhikers-guide-to-the-galaxy ) you'll do fine...
  5. forscan is software which, with suitable hardware, allows you to change internal settings. http://www.forscan.org/home.html also google forscan double honk
  6. see the spreadsheet in this post: http://www.2gfusions.net/showthread.php?tid=4573
  7. Today I fired up forscan, and made 3 modifications to our 2016 Edge Titanium power sockets power off 1 sec after car shutdown & driver door open. cooled/heated seat controls/indicators on home screen driver's climate control added to right hand instrument panel screen Note I found a lot of help about forscan in the 2gfusions.net forum
  8. I'll confirm that the power point timer can be modified with forscan. Same programming as for fusion and F150. My 12v sockets now power off 1 second after turning off the car and opening the driver's door.
  9. It appears that using forscan you could set the power plugs to shut off a second after turning off the car. I'll be trying this myself Monday or Tuesday.
