My wife's 15 Edge Sport is getting the pan swapped today for leaking oil pan.

I will scramble around (AKA walk to my car) to get the VIN and take a look. Do we know if the 2017 Sport has the same PTU unit issues? Mathematically, we could get a '17 for the same payments (within $50 a month) as our '15 since we arent upside down. Build date is 10.21.2015 (two days before our son)

I think I may have the PTU on my wife's 2015 edge sport awd. Just dropped it at the dealership. Car has 23k miles on it. All of the sudden harsh grinding noise ONLY under acceleration. Front right under the car. Do these symptoms match up to the PTU issue? Whatever it is, the edge is our transportation to our two week vacation to Colorado next Wednesday. Certainly don't want to pay for a rental that is big enough to get all four of us CO.

That plastic drain plug I guess is why I didnt find a Fumoto for my wife's Sport. I've owned 9 cars and the Edge Sport is the first one Ive had with no Fumoto.
