Happened to my sport as well (plus many more issues). They replaced the pannel under warranty. It was a combination of warping and adhesion failure.

I remember smelling exhaust in my 2002 Explorer but never thought much of it. Seems to be a recurring issue that goes back a decade or more.

Good call on the co2 alarm. The vehicle didn't make it to the dealer without another issue. Just got the adaptive steering fault.

Have the exact same issue with my 2016 Ford Edge Sport. Ford has ordered a new bumper and will paint under warranty.

Looks like I am setting the record for the number of issues with the Edge Sport. Latest warranty work includes: Pano sunroof track snapped preventing the sunroof from closing Paint flaking off bumper due to adhesion issue (required repaint of bumper) That totals over 15+ service visits and 30 days in repair. Can't wait to get out of this POS. If only Canada had lemon laws.

Everytime the shop fixes something 5 more issues pop up. I don't know how Ford has the nerve to charge almost $60k(cad) for this car.

To add to the list of horrors, the sunroof trim and panneling had to be replaced. At this point, the dealer has all but rebuilt the car.

Check the A pillars. I thought it was my dashboard as well but it turned out to be the driverside A pillar.

What doesn't rattle on this car. Most likely the retainment clips need to be replaced.

After going through this fiasco with my Mustang, we are in for a long hard road. I was waiting on parts for two years and eventually sold my car at a loss because of the airbag recall. I believe dealers were aware of the recall mid December and did not inform buyers until the official notice in March. Potential legal action?

Ask them to lower the roof liner and check the magnetic clips.

CAMVAP won't get involved unless it is the same issue 3+ times. It just so happens that it is various issues at once. Regarding the fog light, I meant the trim around the LED running lights. Also, Ford Canada offers no help but warranty work. I am truly disgusted by the vehicle quality and lack of resources to help consumers. Definitely not worth close to $60K.
