What are the license plate screw dimensions? 14 x 5/8 ? Wanted to put the 2 bottom fasteners in. Last car only had 2 holes. Feel like I can hear the license plate rattle over big bumps.

Will have to upload a pic of the dealer notes when I get home. My claim was DENIED. They claim there's exterior damage to the lense (what looks like a cat tried to jump up on the car scratched the lense slightly). Asked what I'll have to do to actually get it replaced and asked if I would have to call a Ford rep. Was told that they would be willing to look at it a a later time and see if they could reseal the unit or something. Also was told by the manager that he's seen a few other units with the same condensation issue. Smh....what do you think guys??

They ended up taking apart the seat and inspecting it and putting it back together. Unsure of what they actually did to fix it but it worked. Will have to take a picture of the paperwork and upload the notes the dealer wrote down. So far so good no movement upon hard braking or turning. (Fingers crossed it doesn't reoccur) Thanks for updating with what you found. Pics will be a help when I look at it. Sitting at the dealer right now because the the passenger rear door realignment wasn't a 100% fix.

Picked up from the dealer last night. Took it home. Now the top right is bulging a little bit and the left side is no longer bulging. The wind noise is WORSE when hitting 50+MPH. Also now the door needs to be closed harder or it stays ajar. Also someone accidentally scratched the the wheelwell. Will have to buff that out more later with some scratch-x. Not happy at all right now. Sitting at the dealer and they are going to take another look at it.

Ok so unfortunately I overslept this morning but just called and they said to drop it off. Heading there now. I work nights so it's hard to get up in the mornings sometimes. I did just grab the driver's seat by the seat cusion sides and move it at least an 1/8 of an inch side to side. The passengers side seat does not. You can't really tell by thepics but I'll post them anyways. Wish I had someone to take a video of it.

I noticed my driver's seat also shifting a little bit upon hard braking and turning. Hopefully this is something that will be honored under warranty if bolts need to be adjusted or unfortunately a seat replacement. I'm dropping off my Edge at the dealership for the second time now to have the passenger side rear door realigned due to wind noise and clear bulging visible from the exterior. (First time was for steering wheel replacement due to adaptive steering fault) I'll do the same and see if it moves when you forcibly try to shake the seat from a parked position or if it only shifts when you have more momentum going during driving. Let us know what you find out.

Girlfriend recommended to do some squats.

I had to have the steering wheel replaced. 2016 Ford Edge Sport. Had a courtesy car for 3 weeks... No problems so far since the wheel was replaced. The steering wheel isn't as loose when turning now. The steering wheel was turned left 90 degrees despite the wheels being straight. Turning off and on the car no longer reset it. Had to visit the dealership when it happened. The error message needs to be on when you visit or else they will probably ask you to come back when it happens again so don't turn the car off until they see it or you risk the error going away the car self fixing itself upon turning back on.. at least initially.

When I first took home my 2016 Fod Edge Sport December of 2016 I noticed that after heavy rain condensation would accumulate in the drivers side rear brake light. Upon visiting the dealer I was told I had to come in when I noticed it despite having pictures of it from various times. I work nights so it's hard to get to the dealership when it's an issue with something they have to see in person due to the service department not usually opening up until several hours after I get home in the mornings. This will be something I visit the dealership for to have replaced if I notice it again. Lately it hasn't been an issue?

I noticed usually at speeds of 45+mph an increase in wind noise around the passenger rear door when driving. Also it was much more apparent when I had the radio off or turned down low. Upon looking at the rear passenger door I noticed it appeared to be misaligned. A close look at the bolts inside I noticed it looks like someone attempted to readjust one because the factory paint was chipped off. Also the door is a clearly not alligned when looking at it from outside the car when compared to the drivers side passenger door. Then when I was washing the car I noticed what appeared to be blue tape at the top of the window plastic trim piece. Apparently it was never removed from the factory. I was nervous peeling it off at first thinking it was some kind of film that prevented paint damage. Upon visiting my dealer where I bought the car new fortunately one of the serivce technicians was able to identify the material. I now have an appointment for a door realignment next Thursday and will have a courtesy car for the day. Hopefully it's quieter when I get it back.
