  1. I just got my Edge ST back from dealer where they performed the update for the lights. On start, I notice a clear startup movement. When I tested while parked, the lights clearly shift right and then recenter. But I notice they don’t shift left when I turn left. They basically just stay centered. is that intentional? Or something is still incorrect?
  2. My ST is just under a year old, with about 11,500 miles on it. I find that recently on mostly highway driving I am averaging 23-25 MPG pretty consistently... Higher than I was achieving in my first 6 months or so.
  3. Can you expand on this? I have the 19 ST and I can't stand the horn. Where did you pickup an 18 horn from? And is it actually an easy install? I am not super handy, and even less handy when it comes to cars.
  4. Keep us posted. Interested in hearing about your experience
  5. My average on the computer is no 22.2 MPG, I am almost exclusively highway driving, in the 70-75 mph range. Fuelly confirms a slightly higher per trip MPG, but I guess that makes sense for the average on the computer to slowly be increasing. Fuelly did calculate about 32 MPG the other day when I drove almost a full tank at 60 MPH either flat or down hill... Pretty exciting.
  6. I ordered a new tire from tire rack and had it delivered in days to a local tire shop. Painless. The ford dealer near me was quoting 4-6 weeks to get one in
  7. The spare in my ST was a smaller donut, certainly not 21"
  8. What is the Trans TSB? I use Fuelly to track, not the onboard computer.
  9. I am getting on average about 21.5MPG on my weekly trips which are 120 miles each way, 90% highway cruising between 60-75 MPH. 4,000 miles
  10. Is the MPG savings worth the additional gas cost?
  11. How do I know what size "wheel" and tire is compatible if I go smaller?
  12. What size wheels/tires can I go to if I replace the entire package? Does that throw off any of the AWD functionality?
  13. I drive my car 80% highways, speeds at an average of 75mph or so. I am getting consistently 21-22 MPG confirmed with Fuelly and in car average. It is low, but then again I drive fast. I am on small roads for only a small part of my trip. I imagine if I went down to 60-65mph I would have much better mileage.
  14. Got a mailing about what appears to be a free trip in park city (excluding travel) for some Edge ST experience. Has anyone else received this? Has anyone else done this? Thoughts? Is it just another sales pitch? We were actually thinking of taking a family summer trip out West this summer anyway, so if the verdict is this is cool, we can plan around it.
  15. In terms of wiring and mounting? Does it replace what I currently have or it goes in parallel?
  16. Is that easy to do? Seems I have just the high tone toot. The horn in my Grand Cherokee and Explorer were much stronger and louder.
  17. Turning radius in my 2019 Edge ST is terrible, especially compared to my 16 Explorer Platinum. Also, I think the horn sounds weak and not very aggressive... Too much of a chirp than a horn...
  18. Verdict is sidewall has a big gash in it. No rim damage... So I'm in need of a new tire only, which is not terrible. Ford dealer in DE told me that to get a matching CONTINENTAL CROSSCONTACT LX SPORT 265/40R21 tire would be 4-6 weeks. I looked on Tire Rack and am getting one delivered to a shop tomorrow and will get it mounted for $25... also ebates has 4.5% back :) Noticed that Tire Rack says that the new tire comes with road hazard coverage... Too bad new cars don't come with that same thing.
  19. I was literally next to the parking lot driving at about 10mph. I was able to pull into a spot. I don’t believe there is any rim damage. Not visible at least.
  20. Hi. Not sure where to post this. I have a brand new 2019 Ford Edge ST with 1900 miles on it. I am 120 miles from home at a hotel for work. I hit a pot hole this evening when it was dark in the parking lot of the hotel. The front right tire immediately went flat. I had roadside assistance come and out the spare on. Upon brief look, there did not appear to be any nails or holes in the tires. They still look brand new. Few questions or advice requested 1) do new fords or new tires come with any sort of warranty or repair service? 2) am I better off taking the car to a local ford dealer or a tire shop to test the tire? 3) I assume given the mileage I can just repair a single tire 4) do I have any sort of hope other than paying for a new tire? 5) I believe they are 265/40R21
  21. Is that true for all cars? Good to know... Actually, probably bad to know
  22. Anyone have insight into this calculation? My Edge ST has about 1000 miles on it. I've been averaging about 20MPG pretty consistently, feels a bit low given most of my driving is highway, but is what it is. Today my car was telling me I had about 3 miles to empty by the time I got to a gas station. But to my surprise the car only took 16.6 gallons. Isn't it an 18 gallon tank? Shouldn't that calculation had been a lot higher?
