  1. ive been using this, its mounted where your front license plate is. https://www.amazon.ca/VOSICKY-Bumper-License-Bracket-Off-Road/dp/B073ZDFVNW/ref=asc_df_B073ZDFVNW/?tag=googleshopc0c-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=292953052961&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=8294738580687331489&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9000150&hvtargid=pla-584410800456&psc=1
  2. ouch that's not good! I got the cheapest ones but I regret it because at -20 degres Celcius, they do not clean at all!!! no flexibility in the cheap rubber!!
  3. today, I have changed the windshield wiper blade after 94,000kms! yea, I know, it's boring!
  4. That's what i wanted to avoid. My front led bar is wired that way and i wish i could just add a "tap-a-fuse" thing in the fuse box but i guess it's not possible!
  5. I do have the trailer package which includes only 4 wires, left signal right signal park light and ground. I wish I would have a wire for the back-up lights, it would make my life way easier!!! Next week ill try to tap on the wire feeding the back-up light to see if it will trigger the relay. Thanks!
  6. sorry to revive this thread but can you confirm me that on the BCM, pin #6 and #11 are the module that control the high bean headlight? if so, i have few questions for you!!!
  7. good afternoon, I want to add 2 x LED cube on my hitch so when I back up at night, i can see. i wanted to add a fuse tap adapter for the backup light fuse. So when putting vehicle on reverse, it would send signal to the relay and send power to the LED lights. I tried searching online to find the fuse # and location for reverse lights, no luck, I called 2 different dealers and they both told me that reverse light are controlled by the BCM and if I add something to the circuit, I would "change" the Voltage and Amp and the lights would just not work (LED and OEM reverse lights) anyone tried this before? I do not want to slice in the wiring harness..... thanks in advance
  8. i know it's an old tread but anyone know how to use the include harness to hook up the 3 led? thanks
  9. they found it quick,, now the waiting game of rental car reimbursment....
  10. the car didn't burned no but there was still a flame that burned the cables...
  11. Somewhere under the cabin. didn't saw the location but i saw the burned wiring they pulled out
  12. here we go... Dec 21st... coming from work after a series of 11 x 12hr shift. turned in my street and the Edge stalled... put it in park, pressed the start\stop button... pressed again, started turning and turning and turning.... after few tries, got the error message "crank time exceeded"... tried after few minutes and still no go. called the selling dealer (125kms from home) told me the vehicle could be in the theft mode and should be towed to the closest dealer. called road side assistance, got the towing after 1h... dealer told me to call on Monday Dec 24th to get a courtesy car during the time it would be at the garage. called on the 24th.closed.... called back ton the 27th. the service dep. employee told me he could not give me a courtesy car since I didn't buy my vehicle at there garage... (reason is the sales men who is also the co owner of the garage, refuse to let me try the vehicle outside the parking lot....) anyway, after 17 days without a vehicle, I got my Edge back... reason of the problem is a rusty bolt did a spark and fried the communication cable under the passenger compartment and burned the isolation on some cables.... and it was caused by the trailer package installed by the dealer (apparently)... any one else experienced something similar in the past?
  13. thanks! will take a look as soon as its stop snowing! -- and googling what a windshield cowling is.. (sorry i am a french canadian!!)
  14. still didnt find a way to go from engine bay to cab -_-
  15. i finally decided to put the switch on the fuse panel for now. put a quick disconect in case i needed to remove the panel later. https://ibb.co/z8gpTWs https://ibb.co/D89GwQM https://ibb.co/s3MPqGC https://ibb.co/mBvkh5S https://ibb.co/qrfR4MX https://ibb.co/JKX63pd https://ibb.co/yPZ3HnJ https://ibb.co/YTp849b here's some picture of the switch. not sure if the links work tho, first time in a long time i use that kind of service
  16. I tried removing the fuse panel cover and pushing the clip on the far right of the light switch. couldn't move the assembly and my fingers got stuck soooo i gave up that setup for now!
  17. It will be for off road usage only or back roads going to the camp. i know what you mean by drivers who blind others and i am not that type of idiots!

  20. so this is my first post. I want to install my old 20some inches LED on my Edge SEL 2018. finding a location for the switch is quite a project since I want it to look as much as possible OEM. I installed the LED bar on a License Plate Mount I prior purchased on Amazon for 40 some dollars. now, I need to install the switch. I had 3 options but rapidly discarded the setup in the center console since it's too much work to make it look good. Now, I have the options of either on the fuse panel with a quick disconnect on the back or next to the light switch. on the fuse panel, it's easy and can be done quickly but my first option would be next to the switch panel. anyone can tll me how to remove the switch panel ? i felt a clip on the right side of it but I cannot find one on the other side. sorry for the pic, i can only upload 1 pic at the time per post so i chose the one with the location next to the light switch! thanks for your help!
