My factory hitch did not come with new kick sensors. Talked to dealer who installed it yesterday and they said installation instructions said it would make the lift gate foot sensor not work. I'm going to dig under there this weekend and see if I can make it work. There is an accessory for Ford Explorers to make the kick sensor work with hitch, but not for the Edge.
